Oh man, I had a power outage when I was typing something up yesterday, oh well, now I gotta try to reproduce that.
Nik - I left with saying goodbye to you? When I left I said bye to everyone in general, but I did not see that you weren't there, sorry bout that dude. I will try get the tapes from Peter then and try to do the matches, but no guarantee on when though because I have a crazy busy month coming up. BTW - Nice job at the tournament, you stepped it up dude.
Herschel - Nice ICs man, beat all my characters except... ICs, weird. I can teach you some tricks with them to make them deadlier, but good shiz overall.
Tiep - Didn't get to 1v1 you, but we had some friendlies in teams. Your characters are getting to be quite crazy, all of them. 3rd place is nice, I can't wait to see the vids of some of your matches.
John - Great first match we had. I thought it was close, but maybe that was just me. Hope we can have some friendlies soon and get training done. You've mega improved man, goooood shiz John, good shiz!!
Ryan - Nice win. Took down Eric finally eh? Good Fox, it's scary to see how sometimes you can be patient with them, then pounce (like a Fox). Also nobody seeems to beat your shine timing, good win dude. Lots of matches there.
Eric - 2nd??? Still good man, I know you and Ryan's hands must be like blistered up right now. Good sets, hot Falco, Doc...everybody. Can't wait to see some of your matches.
Adam - We do hardly play each other. But those were some good matches man. Didn't know you had a Samus, and your Fox is pretty dang good too. Great stuff, I need to see who eliminated you because you were playing pretty well against me, I think.
Darius - YES, finally, it's been a while since we've played and I knew it would be this exciting. Our matches were like the only ones I have ever had where it was just FUN. No nervousness or anything, just plain fun. Falcon, Falco, Fox, Doc, Roy, Marth dittos were great, I don't even remember which ones were tournament ones, but they were all great. More training next time? Good job at tying for 7th.
Jeremy - You have finally gotten the game! I hope there are more smashfest though so you can get some training though, I know that CPUs will most likely screw up your training (first hand experience right here man). Great Marth dude! I shall forever remember yours and Darius' reaction to Fox's U-air and U-throw.
Evan - I only got to see your Roy versus Darius Roy. You're improving since that Vancouver tournament at Wally's. But watch a lot of what you say man, it is quite distracting to everyone while playing. I am pretty sure you don't want a person talking to you while you play an important match. But good stuff in the tournament.
Keith - How did you place so high and I not know you? Good stuff then.
Toby- Good matches man. Sheik does well versus Peach and Marth, I gotta find a way to beat Sheiks with those two to see if I can do it. Your Sheik scared me during the tournament though, it was a close second match.
Noypi_GjD - Sorry I don't know your real name dude. But since you said you played my Fox with your Peach, I am guessing it was that one and only match I had like that on Sat. You should try to shield grab a bit more, turnip throw a bit more, play a bit more mind games. But I am sure next time I see you, you're gonna improve, so I can't wait til then dude.
Other guys - Sorry I don't know your names specifically, most likely ya'll left early. Hope to play you guys again.
EDIT: After analyzing Tiep's post, the spots of 1-5 I think shouldn't be like in tact like that. I think after having more tournaments, better placings, then you can clearly see who does well. If there are a lot of people who want 10th position, EVERYBODY has to challenge him, it's a little unfair if you think about it. Just to move up, you will have at like every smashfest people just playing like what, a set just to determine it? If you play in a tournament, you play a variety of people with different skill levels and such, it can really show. Maybe we should start with a point system?
Ryan - 10 pts
Eric - 9 pts
Tiep - 8 pts
Something like that, although a one point difference is pretty bad. I think this way is better at ranking people because it shows how much you would play and how well you play. Most tournaments we have, there are at least Eric, Ryan, Tiep, Adam and John at, so they can preserve their points. I don't know, its just a suggestion, but please hear me out.
