You know aside from leaving MSN on at home, there is something called MSN web messenger, and John can use that to go on MSN during school hours. Anyhow, my last exam is tomorrow (Friday), and I should have more free time to game for the 2 weeks I have off. So... somebody set something up? :D Oh, my exam is for computer science - that introduction to java programming class - do you remember talking about that last time we met Tiep? heh.

Okay this is completely off topic and nothing to do with smashbros but I must ask this question.


To everyone thats graduated so far... I have a question. Thats been confusing me.

Okay lets say theres a course in Langara Called

3D Studio Max Visual Designing.
Prerequisite - Adobe Premier Digital Video Editing.
and
Adobe Premier Digital Video Editing
Prerequisite - Adobe Photoshop Advanced Techniques
and
Adobe Photoshop Advanced Techniques
Prerequisite - Adobe Photoshop Image Editing.
and
Adobe Photoshop Image Editing
Prerequisite - Film/Image editing or equivilent experience.

Okay well I want to take the 3D Studio Max course but I would that mean I would HAVE to take all those other courses even though that I know how to use it and such?
Like the first Adobe Photoshop Image Editing only teaches stuff like how to crop and vector and all those basic stuff that I already know how to do. Would I still have to take this course or can I skip and go to the next one?

John, the word prerequisite seems to imply that you NEED to take the other ones. However, with proof, (portfolio, or a test, maybe), they might let you go. Just like since i know/speak spanish, i can get into spanish 11 without taking spanish10/9 etc. I would need to take a test however. Is there any way of proving that you know this basic-level thingimajigger? That would be your best option.

And just because its a prerequisite doesn't mean that is like a MUST take course. I've seen a few things that says you need such and such but yet you really don't. Like my friend who is in my grade but has grade 11 courses because he had to drop out for 1 school year due to some sickness. And he has a "Langara 3D Animation Certificate" He has this certificate even though he has not graduated. And last I've check you had to graduate to go to Langara or atleast have English 12.

Also you asked me a question earlier that I didn't answer.... You asked if it was Tina from DeadorAlive that I got to sing (my Msn name)........ Dunno if you were serious... but of course its NOT Tina from DoA... How am I suppose to get a video game character to sing for me?

Well most of the smashfests are mostly in richmond. But once in a while I hold one, Nick holds one, or Roby holds one.

I don't host unless people really really want to smash or when people just come over and other people find out and they just come my house also isnt that big to hold everyone.
Nick rarely holds one because he is usually busy with his other friends.
and Roby well he says he cant this week.
Adam and Eric are the others that hosts smashfest/tourneys.
I don't really remember anywhere else besides the Nvan people holding one.

So yeah. Its not just a hassle for you to get their but their place I think is one of the best place. Burnaby people and Nvan people have to travel even further to get there.
