Whenever they get 25 people signed up, they'll post a date. As of now, I'm the only person signed up. When I swing by tomorrow with Xyro's ruleset, I'll ask if you have to be a student. If not, I will GLADLY open it up to other cities if you guys would like. The owner said he'd cap it at 100 people.

At the Dobie Game Store. It's close to Guadalupe, right down from the Jester Dorms.

$5 entry fee, with every $2 going to the 1st place winner, and every $1 going to the 2nd place winner.

I'll also help him the day of with seeding to make sure we don't all play first round or something stupid like that.

TIO is not hard to use at all. I have it on my Windows XP partition, and I've used it a few times. Quite simple really. Granted, you should play around with it some in terms of how seeding and stuff works before you jump in on tourny day.

Chris, I'm not sure if Xyro still uses MLG stage list (I can't seem to remember from last HOBO), but I would prefer for this first tourny, keep the starters just to the regular neutrals. I feel like the whole striking system and stuff may be very foreign and a turn off to any potential newbies if we go with the MLG list.

If this guy is gonna let people co-host with him, I nominate Chris, cause I know he'll do a good job, and Ricky for being a total snob. Unless we don't want a snob hosting, then I'll do it. Shaun can be the guy who works the computer in the backroom. He'll never make an appearance once during the tourny.

Personally, I'm a bit shocked that a Metaknight would be afraid of such a terrible character with that low priority, no recovery, and a chance to whiff attacks like that. :o
