IIRC, It has no real purpose, but it does have a really cool gimmick of having every name color match every avi color (and surrounding Pokemon, which gives it another 10 awesome points).

My problem with it is that the novelty wore off about 5 seconds after I realized what they were doing.

Considering it took around 3 days to get all 8 leaders up, the novelty wore off before Misty was even up.

After that it's kind of just...not actually a blog.

One thing to also consider is that at least one of the "Gym leaders" will change their avatar -- and possibly usergroup -- at some point...making any sort of retrospect on this topic (which will happen given the originality of this topic and the tendency of people to bump every blog in the UB ever) rather sloppy.

I'll have Teran lock this once were done with this probably. It just won't work as well without the right avatars and usergroups.

Maybe we'll update the op with a few screencaps for future generations haha.

That would be Sinnoh.

And, technically, just because it's Kanto doesn't mean they couldn't emulate the same thing online. It's not really any different from what a Kanto online would be.

This seems kind of overly hostile as an entire post...unless there's some hidden joke that I'm missing.

A) I just played Apollo Justice for the first time recently since my friend lent it to me due to me being very slow about purchasing the second two Ace Attorney games...(i.e. I still haven't bought either of them yet) and my friends and I are all going to be awesome and cosplay Phoenix Wright characters, something which we decided back in January or so. I decided to be Klav. Therefore, I need to play the game to be able to know his personality and mannerisms.

B) I doubt I would remember your avatar/location whether or not I was a member when you had it since I've never had much interaction with you at all. Nor would I care. My avatar and location are going to be my avatar and location, whether or not someone had the same one like, a year and a half ago.
Having the same combination presently, that's a different story.

C) Who cares when I joined...? I thought all of the '08er hate was gone now since it's been...wow, almost a year since 2008?

Not to mention that the main reason for '08er hate has always been joining for Brawl, and I think I've made it pretty clear over time that I have, in fact, grown to hate Brawl. And I was never a Brawl noob, even when I could stand the game un-hacked.
