i mean i dont care but im just wondering the reasoning.

Preference really. I've come to a conclusion that our current top five has such a large skill gap from 6-10 that it just makes the idea of having more than 5 just some title. We also do not have as near as many players as we should to make top 10.

I'm just tired of hearing people fuss about the PR. I think making it top 5, the cream of the crop, would result in fewer arguments (except for people arguing for a top 10).

It would also limit it to people who actually do really well at tournaments. No offense to anybody, but given the current smash scene in AL, you probably have a 50% chance of getting ranked if you just show up to tournaments.

oh word i kind of agree with you guys.

you know me how i've always said that we all sucked. well thats what i'm talking about. i think ive made the exact same argument before. about how the skill gap from the top players is pretty wide.

and i've always thought it kind of made our state look bad if our #9 on the list could barely make it out of pools in another states bracket

thats kind of the way it is in every state though

the last 3 people or so are kind of not that good
and the top 5 are like killer.
some states only top three.
or top two.
i mean, idc either way.
but there are alot more states with top ten worse than us.

i would keep ten just to stick with tradition. it'd be weird to be the only state in the country with only 5 on the list.

and just to hype the community a bit and give people a reason to want to get better
(only prob with that is some people think the PR is the end all and once they get on their, they're satisfied)

but i can see the argument

GA's top 10 is without a doubt way better than our top 10. :/

And this was just an idea nothing is set in stone. :x I just want to see the opinions.

GA's players have elevated quicker than we have.

maybe lst year we were about even if not better

but now someone like Scatt who's like 7 on their list could probably wreck everyone in alabama except reflex and elev8's chaingrabs lawl

Lol. I don't lose to unranked Marths. We definitely need to play Trey, at MLG i got to play Mike Haze, Chaz, & Pierce7D in friendlies/mm's. Michalis/art dude just got #5 on their update. Scatt is GA's Snake. He's #4 on their PR i think. He almost made #3 on their most recent update.

I think by winter if we manage to make tournaments a bit more frequent then I'd say we'd have a shot at denting some if not most of GA's PR.

but overall i dunno if we're better

we've only had 1 crew battle that I'm aware of that took placeabout 7 months ago against a ga team that didn't have as many top players <_<.

I've been training/playing a lot of ga over the summer and we've gotten pretty good I should say
