@ Parcheesy Parcheesy Wow, I thought that glitch only worked with my clay pigeon. DH vs Rosalina really does suck for the former.
Yeah, m'bad. Didn't mean to use the bug in a friendly match. Would you say the matchup is like 90-10 Rosalina? :p

Also, I really wish you played a more rush down character. I have so much more experience playing keep away than rush down. Unfortunately I can't exactly afford to out camp your characters.

I think it's that time again.
Though I'm not sure if I can sit still with one character

Anyway, got about an hour, who wants to go 1v1?

Salty Comments:

- I'm super salty that I got spiked by a hydro pump >_>

- I can't beat Greninja's up air. Even though logic dictates the disjoined down air should win

But really, these games are really tense. Nice to have a nice slow calculated game every now and then. Although it would be nice to win more than once. :p
Hydro pump is boss. I love toying around with people using hydro pump.

Greninja's up air has some decent priority and comes out quickly. I don't know if it's beating your dair or if it's just coming out first. These games are really fun, yeah. I can see why Greninja mains tend to regard Rosalina as troublesome as I'm not able to commit to anything without getting punished. Plus, one of Greninja's strengths, his grab game, is negated with Luma there. Plus, Rosalina isn't easy to gimp with that insane recovery. Her nair has a long-lasting hitbox as well.

Yeah, m'bad. Didn't mean to use the bug in a friendly match. This is probably something that should be patched :/

I can't really play rush down vs Rosalina unless I'm looking to get punished. Best to play frogger and leap in then out. Don't worry about the bug, I know it wasn't intentional. It's just really lol.

Ah shoot, I was too late.

Well, if anyone else is available, i'd like to have some matches. I can host too.

Most fun matches I've ever played. Every match feels like a Grand Finals. I might not be learning anything, but you're giving me a good checklist of tech I need to cement in training mode.

Oh yeah, how are you managing to dash dance so quickly? Is that a Greninja thing, or do you just have precise timing?

Yeah, these are a lot of fun. Really? Think you're not learning anything? I feel like I'm learning the Rosalina matchup more.

Nope, not a Greninja thing. I have quick fingers so I do it but carefully enough to not damage the circle pad.

WOOOOOW... that was quite a beating.
ABSOLUTELY INSANE GRENINJA, read me like a book (though I think I have habits I need to get out of) and I had no idea he out priorities so much.
Was very fun nether the less and good practice.
Nice snipe of the shadow sneak too.

Sorry for the lag and the choppiness, can't be helped by the distance.

Yeah, last one for me @ Spirst Spirst . I wanna give JJ here a shot.
Oh, didn't even notice this. Shouldn't have used Jr, haha. I have no idea how to play him.

Anyway, very good games. As said, those were a lot of fun. The Rosalina vs Greninja matchup is all about being methodical and having patience. Luma gets to become annoying as hell if you're not careful. Look forward to playing again.

Any thoughts?

His Grenninja was dash dancing like it was still 2001. Although he didn't need it; that character is spooky enough as is.

In case you're not already added, I'll send you another friend request then open up a room. You ready?

Thoughts on how to play Gren against Rosa?

My neutral b to call back Luma has an absurd amount of lag on it, which is why I was usually going so high to use it. If you ever think I'm going to attempt to recall Luma, charge me. I'll be forced to either take a hit to have it by my side, or keep it at a distance where it won't be giving me those super useful hitboxes that I need under pressure.

Yeah, I meant overall. The matchup is a tricky one. I noticed that recall lag, actually. It's also helpful to rush Rosalina down when Luma isn't there as she doesn't seem to be able to handle Greninja without Luma.

I'm pretty average at this game, win rate in For Glory is at 63%. If someone at or above my level would like to play, I could really use the practice.

I'm occupied, but that's actually pretty impressive if you main Robin. I hear he has a pretty rough matchup against Little Mac.

ggs Kofu!

1. Is there anyone you're not good with? I mean that as a huge compliment.

2. I'm trying to use Dorf. Yours is amazing. Like, I know what you're gonna do, but I still get whooped. It's like your Dorf commands respect. Even though he's straightforward, he's still intimidating.

3. You didn't have to SD when I made a mistake, but you did anyway. I appreciate that man. Any schmo can just go along and take advantage of the situation. Thanks.

Lol, you're overestimating me -- I don't even play any decent Macs so I wouldn't know.

GGs, Waffle! Those were close matches that kept me on my toes. I'm still trying to figure out what to do with Ludwig from a standard position or how to approach. Your Mario is great at juggling; good spacing on those aerials!

Thanks! I think I used most of the characters I'm good with against you except Game & Watch, Villager, Jigglypuff, and Captain Falcon. I've been messing around with Dedede, Wii Fit Trainer, and Mega Man, though. I can use most of cast decently, although I'm not really technical with anyone and you get me into a tough position with them I'll struggle.

I have a few words of advice about the 'Dorf, although if you really want to get good with him I recommend you check his character boards. He's got good range, power, and damage output, and you've got to learn how to read and react to your opponent if you want to win. DTilt is one of his fastest ground moves and IIRC is the longest reaching after FSmash. UAir and BAir are probably his best moves; they come out quick and have great range for what they do. Dash Attack is also really good. Flame Choke can be hard to land but can really put the for in a bad position even if they can tech it now. You can hit most characters with DTilt, Jab, or a FTilt if they don't tech it. Aerial DownB is probably his best move for escaping juggles (and kills really early lol) but is punishable if it whiffs. Basically just be patient and capitalize on small openings. That's true for every char but especially for Ganon. I started using him in Brawl for fun just to thunderstomp but ended up getting good with him (so sad you can't do that anymore :c).

And no problem about evening the stocks when you SD'd. I know how it is when you put in a SideB when you mean to UpB.

Sorry that took so long, I'm typing on my phone lol.
