can someone help me with what may be wrong...I got the pcs files and things but when i run step 1 nothing happens...
but how do you get from .pcs to .tga to edit and back again when editing's done?As in, take a custom texture and try to make it apply as a .tga? No. You have to edit a .tga yourself in photoshop or GIMP and make it look like how you want it to.

I've seen people using custom textures where it appeared on the CSS as well as in game. How do they do this?
lol, random ending phrase fail.I...... don't understand what you're trying to say..... Fill the transparency with magenta more often than not? And by raw CSPs you mean the regular CSPs, correct?
How do I index it? I tried using IrfanView to reduce the number of colors, but that didn't work...Yeah, just fill the transparency with magenta then index the image.

Try replacing Dynamic SD Loader v1.0 with this code someone mentioned a few pages back:Man :/ I just spent a whole day trying to get csp's to work.
I had textconv and ntcompress and all that, common5_en.pac, followed the steps exactly on this video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Xsloet8AuK0, got the proper files, put them in my sd card correctly, used sdloader and all that in my geckoOS and much more. But only my custom textures showed up and not the character select portraits. Has anyone gotten this to work seriously? As far as I know I haven't seen it yet besides a couple of screenshots from other sites.
EDIT: I can actually see this on the victory screen, but thats it. I know this question has probably been asked a million times.. Whats the reason for this?

Opponents online won't be able to see you having them swapped, however. I think someone made it, but it's not downloadable yet.Does anyone know if a Ice Climbers texture exists where the Climbers textures are swapped? As in, Nana dressed like Popo and Popo dressed like Nana.

1. You need the ORIGINAL in battle portraits in the neededfiles folder next to common5 before you start step one. No one has a download for all the originals, however... Once you do that, then you can use the _small's.To nobody in particular, I have 2 questions:
1. I got the CSPs working, but I don't know how to change the battle portraits. The tutorials say that the files that have names of the format character#_small should work for that, but they don't for me. Does anyone know how to get them working?
2. I've been using textures since I got home from college last Friday for spring break, but sometimes the textures won't load. I usually go back to the character selection screen when this happens to try again, but sometimes it takes 2 or 3 tries to get the texture loaded correctly. There haven't been any freezes. I'm using version 1.3. Has anyone else experienced this with their codeset or know what could be wrong with mine?
Apparently, no.... I know music is impossible atm, so why should character voices be different? Although it would be awesome to have Roy vocals...This texture hack is badass! Couldn't you use the same concept with this hack to hack character voices?

Are you using the disable custom stages code? If not, use it.Yo peepz, with 1.1, I thought it fixed the wait time you need to need to wait but I still crash whenever I use texture hacked characters then move to the stage select screen without waiting 5 seconds.
