Just wondering... Did anyone go to that Baytown smash tourny last Saturday???
I was there and I was wondering if anyone was there and we can try to set some matches up or something... Not that I live down there but my bro goes to Lee College, so he tries to hook up some matches for me because I'm not having any luck playing anyone..

Edman Xero creams his pants around Betty (that sexy beast) but actually THINKS he can beat him when he can barely beat my friggin Pichu and wins when i sd and acts like it's a win ya know i wouldn't bother mentioning it 5000 ****ing times that i beat SOS when I was sober and he was **** faced and jumped off the stage to his doom when you werent even off of it
jose wtf "i lose because I crouch cancel" that's ****ing lame if ben knows not to cc when he's samus that stupid ***** that lives longer than peach and abuses the cc then that might mean ben is actually a little smarter than you and thats pretty sad right there
and coach sorry i got to mention you i do have to agree with you that playing a noob throws off anyone's style but you still should be able to beat a peach if you've playing as long as you have u even play as her too but for craps sake you just shouldn't pick fox against me that's my best match right there and lets face it your not a god tier fox nor am i but nah all that **** aside your still cool because you don't have to resort to bad jokes if i win johns are something we all make but im glad you don't make an ****ing *** of yourself when you lose to me

This year I am sure to not to lose horrible like the last one. I will atleast go raw and put up a good fight with someone who's tryin to get me outta that pool. Just wanna show my best.

Lol XZalla i dont even think anyone in this forum has even heard of Baytown,AKA God's Blind Spot. Anyways, besides the nooby rules that u predicted right, it turned out pretty good since i got to meet some more talented players that i can actually compete with instead of slaughter.

I'm looking to get into a tourny this summer but I live in South Texas so the closer the better. Cities like San Antonio, Houston, Austin hopefully. Anyway, anyone have like a good site for Tourny news or have any idea of tournies during this summer in those cities? Any kind of thrown bone will do.

Is that the same tourney u were talking about on AIM that would be in May? I could probably make that one, if I remember Westfield High is only like 45 mins away from Baytown and that was in a slow school bus i had to go in for a tennis tourney.

Yea, that's the same one.. But the thing that's irking me is is that the host isn't makin an effort to make people join nor or get excited about it. I'm not that excited seeing that no one is talking about it. Plus he's had like 3 months to plan a tourney before March or soemthin like that and I told him "Isn't that a little to long? Why are you telling me about this now in Febuary?!"
I know I know, making plans beforehand is better than annoucning it the day before a game tourney but I've seen little effort. So meh. But I'm not gonna take it hard on the dude, he's kool and all and he respects me as a foe so I won't make a big deal out of it (anymore).
*I told myself and my friend that when I got home that I was goin to take my ace to sleep and I didn't sleep YET! Maybe it's because I'm waiting for my clothes to dry? Soo sleepy*

Well I was not referring to anything specific. 3 months was more of an estimate. You missed the largest Houston tournament in quite a while last January. The #3 player in the U.S. flew down and attended.
There was a state-wide (Texas) tournament in Austin in March that you also missed.
You should watch these forums to see when future tournaments will occur. I think you have been going to random non-smashboards hosted tournaments where usually nobody good goes. The ones hoested by smashboards people usually attract the really top players.

Why does it seem like ur always waiting for your clothes to dry. Broken dryer, u use clotheslines, u wear the same clothes everyday, which one of the reasons is the culprit.

Thanks for the "info" guys. Guess I'll be check'n in on this board for a while, because I can't join any turnies until after school ends, which is late May....
But until then, I'd like you guys to rate me, I don't want to go to my first tourny and get pwned and called a noob, like I'd start training if I need to.
As you can see from my Sig, got the game right after it and the GCN came out, beat the game 100% a long time ago cept for the trophies that you need certain games to get (I think the only one was one where I needed Beach Head or something like that on my memory card.....darn it), but then I accidentally erased the file so had to get it all again (which mostly I did except for all the trophies and 3 stages). I don't know any really advanced moves yet like Wavedashing etc. but I guess I could learn if needed. I don't have too much problem using any character, I can win a match against a 2-man 9-lvl team, but 3-on-1 and I'm most likely gone if all the lvls are above 5.
If there's anything else anyone needs to know about me to give an accurate review I'll be glad to tell, and if this was a stupid idea just ignore this post and I'll understand.
