I'm sure you're decent and have the basics down, but if you're going to do tounament play then learning the advanced stuff is a must. Depending on you character, wavedashing may not be extemely crucial, but it will always be quite helpful. You want to be able to at least short-hop, attack, fast fall it and L-cancel it. Being able to do that on command and repeatedly will be a big step foward to improving your game. And of course make sure you can do normal stuff like teching, down-dodgeing, shield grabbing, jumping out of your shield and attacking and stuff like that. Either way though, whatever your level, you should go ahead and practice, you can always get better.

Thanks for the tips K, I guess I'll work on that stuff you mentioned...although I'm still skeptical about how important they are.
And X, it'll take me a while, because I don't think I've done many of the Target Tests (I don't really like them anyway) but I'll try to finish off the people I havn't done it with yet as soon as....I get bored, probably. But I'll do it.

Ok, I sorta finished up on those Target Test Times. Total time is 16:39 82, but you have to keep in mind I wasn't trying my hardest.

I think ur on ur own there in Corpus my friend. The only thing going on there is the Selena monument. j/k but seriously thats all i remember from there. Anyways if u could u could come up to baytown. Thats a very close place to Corpus compared to all the other major cities where smashers are probably at. Me and my friends at Lee College will welcome you graciously just ring me up if u get a chance.

Seriuosly you guys should come down and play us I mean we are mediocre at best and any of you guys could prolly take it. Prize money is usually around 150$ for singles, crews and teams, So there you go and easy 150$ for just about any group out of towners that shows up since our skills is not to great so come take our cash and get housed and fed for free by us.Xelic said:

Last time, if any remember Stiltzskin's thread about a bad tourney... that was it and I was there.. And if no one knows wth I'm talkin about, my man Stiltzskin or me can tell you.. but right now I'm fighting to see clear so I'll be back later on today when everthing is crystal clear!
