i do think its missing something though...maybe if they just add bit more texture to her dress (very small flower like patterns or something) it would be complete
but regardless....one of the best 3d models of a 2d character i've ever seen

Lip is one of my favorite obscure-ish character choices. I would really like her to be in the game, and I think it would be neat if some of her colors are based on the other fairy's.

And she would have one of those unique/unheard of movesets, like CFalcon and Fox, so it makes it all the better.

I hope Lip/Furil is playable, she looks very original.

What's with the sudden pessimism? Is it because of Sakurai's quote, "There were many requests from users for his inclusion, and he IS pretty cool, so I did what I could to include him. After all, this game does let you enjoy a dream cast of supporting characters!" ?

How does this affect Lip any more than any other character for which there were many requests from users for his (or her) inclusion ?

I think it's just an effect of over-anticipating news. When there is so little news regarding something so anticipated, we over analyze whatever we can get and try to apply it.

I think the same situation applies to the Lip's Stick item confirmation. It's truly a small update, and only a very minor barrier to her being playable. But because it is the only news we have, we inflate its impact. The way I see it, how is Lip as a playable character bearing her signature weapon despite it also being an item any more bizarre than Lip as an Assist Trophy bearing the Lip's Stick when it is also a seperate item? Unless one insists that that item means she won't appear in the game at all, which I must say would be ridiculous, considering that even characters like Dr. Wright and "Devil" are making it ...

I love that thought and that game, I can't wait until Tuesday comes. Lip for Brawl is what I always will say.

Maybe, but we do have some games that was Japan only in the VC, so I still have some hope.
