Merkuri, didn't you get the memo?

Kal and Kage do nothing but WIN WIN WIN

AKA shut the **** up, Merkuri.

Smooth Criminal
When two people are trolling each other stay out of it, pro players don't need people like you to suck there ****s for them and come into their defense whenever they are in an argument with someone.

It's all in fun anyways.

New Strife, how about instead of emphasizing words in the second person by making them bold, you go back through the first forty-seven or so pages of this thread and tell me how I could have better phrased my argument to convince the MBR to unban these stages, when I explained to them that it's fundamentally impossible to do so because the tenants of their ruleset are conceived with the sole intent of banning said stages?

tl;dr nice try, but emphasizing that I'm the person you're talking to by making bold the only second person pronoun in our language doesn't make your argument any good.

There is a definite conspiracy in the MBR.

[COLLAPSE="Secret Never Before Seen Conversation with Cactuar"]Cactuar: in the current mindset, competitive players dont want the stage to have ANY input on the match
Cactuar: agree/disagree?
Kal: Agree with the mindset or with the fact that most players don't want the stage to have any input on the match?
Kal: Because the fact is obvious from players booing M2K's chain grabs on FD
Cactuar: agree with that being the current mindset, not agreeing with the mindset
Cactuar: i actually dont agree with the mindset
Cactuar: but i push the opinion, as that is the community desire
Kal: this is like learning that Jesus secretly liked expensive jewelry
Cactuar: and im really supposed to be a representative, not represent my personal opinion
Kal: I have to update my facebook about this
Kal: give me like an hour to make a really long blog entry
Cactuar: lolol[/COLLAPSE]

Just Super Saiyan.

False, you just always call me a cheater. It's not my conscience. You've just trained me to react to any accusation you make. Like a dog.

So is Kage really getting into MMA? I used to train in BJJ and Muay Thai before it became too expensive and I had to stop. My ground worked sucked but I had a mean Thai Kick.

See, Kal, this is why you can't just let Varist have whatever he wants just like that. He gets all rude and stuff. You have to let him earn it first.

And I'm pretty sure Kage's serious about the MMA business.

so there's this tournament in my city in 2 months that's using

Neutral
-Yoshi's Story
-Fountain of Dreams
-Battlefield
-Dream Land (N64)
-Final Destination

Cunnerpuck:
-Pokemon Stadium
-Brinstar
-Kongo Jungle (N64)
-Rainbow Cruise

With stage bans I don't think something like this skews results that bad, and hell, seeding already skews **** up beyond repair anyway. We should accept that tournaments will never be fair for all, or even most, or even 1/3 of the players, and add some more flavor to our flavor.

"Fair" is a loaded term people use to justify their own views. If fairness is something you're going for, you need to define the term first. Most people think "fair" means "a player shouldn't have an unfair advantage," which is just wonderfully circular.

People need to keep in mind that, under the usual definition of fairness, just about anything is ok as long as it's available to both players. Just don't be shocked if people start Fox dittoing on Hyrule.

Kage please do us a favor and inform us when you are having your MMA matches so we can follow you. It means a lot to me if I can personally rub every defeat in your face.
Classic, while I enjoy the glory of my journey and battles, you are going to be sitting on your *** pointing fingers? Fine by me, it doesn't matter what you do, that's the lowest you can possibly get as a human being except killing one another.

i went to help with a debate between TX's house of rep candidates at my high school yesterday and there was a question about whether or not the candidate(s) agreed with the bill and O'Rourke was the ONLY one who actually knew what he was ****ing talking about, no one else even seemed to think it was a bad thing.

also old mexican people trying to talk about internet things like SOPA makes me lol.

silly :beezo: killed his chance of re-election with that last bill. scary ****.

I wouldn't say he killed his chance, but I agree that it's scary ****. Of course, politicians are just Americans with power. They're not special, and they're not going to reject the chance for more power because of technicalities like morality and the constitution.

George Carlin puts it nicely. Our country is filled with poorly educated idiots, and we elect them to positions of power. Garbage in, garbage out.

Guys, Hylian is watching. Back on topic: **** the MBR's fascist policies. It's time to unban Mute City for good. Because it's legit. Also subjectivity.

honestly, when jiggs planking starts becoming this huge thing, people will wish they had Mute City back. even if legit jiggs players have an advantage there, the people with pocket jiggs just for planking BS won't know what to do.

Mute City deserves to be our 2nd counterpick stage, if only to help stop the cancerous spread of Chibo tactics.

It really is. I need to start calling it "the cancerous spread of scrubbiness."

i think it would be really cool to add like 8 counterpick stages and give each player 4 stage bans.

that would be awesome and do much to get us on the right track toward fighting amongst cars traversing quickly across a screen
