Hey guys, while waiting for Massive to test a few things for me in SSBM Online, I decided to use some of my gained skill and knowledge in disassembly to bring you some AR codes! Presenting:

For those unfamiliar, taunt cancelling in Smash 64 involves running toward a ledge while taunting to cancel the taunt with the teeter animation. This is not possible in Melee because the taunt animation has priority over the teeter. However, this code gives taunts the same teeter check as standing and walking. This code also does one more thing: Taunting during dash carries your momentum through, allowing you to taunt and slide without having to break into a full run.

I remember seeing random Smash 64 TAS videos with some crazy-funny taunt cancels, and wondered plenty how Melee characters would look/sound doing the same thing. This'll be really cool to test personally. (=

OR can you tell me how you would apply this code in Dolphin?

I think the real question is, will this let you moonwalk into a ledge canceled "Show me your moves"?

Also, Fox's Japanese taunt. :D

Yeah, I probably could. If IE can tell me what the original line is and a few of the commands next to it, I can try to port it to other regions.

I updated the OP with links to DK's taunt cancel, as well as the Dreamland trick where you mash taunt with the blowing wind (yes, it still works).

It took a while but now I've got a bit more knowledge on how it worked. I hope people enjoy it. I won't be able to make a 1.1 or PAL version unless I have an iso for them. I think that having it for versions 1.0 and 1.2 will be fine for now at least because those seem to be the most common versions of melee.
