Alright, I'm changing the cost of teams from 10 dollars, to 20 dollars. Now before you start complaining about the cost, let me also say I'm changing teams format.

At Beezo, we did RR for teams, it took us about 3 hours, for about 14 teams. They had about 7 set ups. RR will give everyone plenty of matches, and it will also make sure there is no funny business in brackets.

Since it will be 20 dollars. I will stick with 40/30/20/10. That's right, even if we have only 10 teams, it will stay that way. So there will be no complaining. Also, Last time we had 5 set ups, that sucked. This time We need more, I heard Zicore complaining always about set ups, yet he never brings one. How about Plover/Steven's Point actually bring something for once, and not complain.

We'll then have a lunch break, and then start singles.

Also, placings will be determined by SETS WON, not games in RR. Ties will then be broken by games won, then if that persists, then losses, and if then, who won between those teams. If it's a 3 way tie, a RR match between the 3 teams will happen.

I really couldn't tell you if the point crew is coming to this, because we are more then likely going to the next BEZZO...yeah, its a day after, but I can't take off of work 2 days in a row for smash. And I doubt EoF would want to do it, considering after EVERY tourny, he deep hatred for the game resurfaces. Funny stuff, but not healthy =P And plus, 20 bucks for teams is super lame. Why raise the price? Really?

And lone, I don't complain about number of setups. The last few tournies that you had had enough setups. I complained at cc3, which had 3 setups...

It's all good. The price range will award the winners with more, and it's only an extra 5 dollars per person,and you get to play a bunch of matches. I went to beezo, and theres was 20 dollars, and I played teams for like 3 hours, as did everyone else.

Also it was CC4, and it had 4 set ups.

But yah, if you guys go to beezo, have fun, it's a real good tourney.

Ok, so I got an email from Chimeras today, on how they are hesitant to host the next tourney.

I'll post the part of the email they want us to follow.


I expect you and your participants to be courteous to each other, other people in the store, and to my staff.
I expect you and your participants to keep the gaming area clean, throw away garbage, and return the furniture to it's original places.
I expect you and your participants to realize Chimera Hobby is a family oriented business. I do not want to hear "trash talk" or profanity coming from the game room.



These are the expectations they have. So try to keep the swearing down, as in little to none, or at least do it quietly, and clean up after yourselves.... I dont how much trash I picked up last tourney. It's real easy to throw away garbage. And no matter how rude Chimeras is to us, be nice to them.

This will be the last tourney hosted here, so don't complain about Chimeras, the next tournies will have a better location.

Yes Quaz I can try, but again I can't guarantee that I can come down. If I did I will probably want to hang around a bit, like an hour maybe, and we can practice a bit. Then I need to know whether we'll be staying at James', Ethan's, or Steve's.

Lone, you remember I was helping as much as I could cleaning? I'll volunteer to help again afterward, I only left soon last time cuz' my ride couldn't wait to get out of there. The profantities thing will require some exercise of control, but I can manage. I'm normally dead silent when I'm concentrating. That's all over here, the price means nothing to me and RR sounds excellent IMO, but either way is fine by me.

lone if you're complaining about cleaning up a 16-17 person tourny, you have no idea what hj4 was like. It was basically me and steve (airy was sick or something) cleaning up after over 100 people. dont complain about picking up trash for 15 minutes please. anyway, i'm pretty sure i wont be entering teams unless theres someone i reallly want to team with. But i'll still probably go.

FC including housing costs as well as food. Also FC had over 200 competitors, so u could say that it kindof included a specator fee to see mew2king and pc play in the finals!!! YOU"RE JUST TRYING TO SCAM US LIKE THE HOANGS

I'm here only to argue Lone's case, RR is great. At the first Beezo I played with a scrub, but I didn't mind at all because well I knew I wouldnt place in the money anyway (MN is too good) so I just played with this kid, and it was much better than if we'd have done double elim.

RR makes random teaming that much easier because even if you lose your first two matches, you still have 7+ matches to look forward to as opposed to sitting out and hoping you can get in some friendlies.

RR also never has you waiting for bracket results. You just stand up after a match, see some other team standing and say lets play. That means more matches in nearly the same amount of time it takes to do brackets, and get in not so many matches.

As for the 10 dollar cost per teams, it only makes the tournament 20 dollars. 20 dollars per month to attend a tournament isn't bad (and hey, at least there isn't a venue fee)


Lone, are you doing your weird tourney at the end? It'd make it easier for anyone in MN to go because singles/double=most important so they could always leave during that tournament. I'm not saying I'm going, but with no Beezo in August, it's something to look into.

And lastly, if for some reason, I drive 5 hours to come to this, and get 10 miles to gallon of gas, and then pay 20 dollars to play in singles and teams, then I had best not hear any WI people complaining about the cost

Teams will now be 10 dollars, and we're doing random bracket. I try to make this more enjoyable with RR, but then everyone has to complain about money....

Lone, did you know the first Beezo was 10 dollar teams (5 per person) and still RR

I think if you introduced RR like that to Wisconsin, they might have an easier time paying 10 per person at a later date (Yoshii upped the price, and after the first Beezo, no one was bothered at all... I think this is partly due to having experienced it already)

I'm changing everything completely about this tournament right now.

Teams will be 10 dollars a team. RR. Pot Split will be 60/30/10 for teams. I'm sorry but Im not splitting the pot the other way if we're only have 10 dollars.

Singles 10 dollars for singles, double elimination. We will seed pools with the top 4 teams being in seperate pools.. Pay Out will be 40/30/20/10

Afte that, you guys can decide to do whatever you want at this point.

i happen to support the $20 teams .... look at it this way peopel... your odds of getting money in teams is much higher than in singles.... and with a higher pot, you'll actually get enough money back to make it worth it... MORE people will get MORE money that way.... *thumbs up*
