Yup so, wavedashing is pretty sweet in Melee aye... it'd be a shame if it was taken out in future versions of Smash. Of which there are not any.

Yes Stu. A Sydney thread is a Sydney thread, so they might not check.

But if they see like a new thread with words like Sydney and Tournament in it, they'll all rush in, and be like ZOMGGGG etc etc.

At least that way we can keep that thread with all the tourney questions, discussions, and what not.

Yeah, what happened to combos? I couldn't really get any in Brawl every time I played.. maybe I fail combo or.. that game fail wavedashing?

combos are....a bit meh, even when pulled off. either that, or metaknight. your choice.

Which is why we should not play Brawl anymore -_- and send vids of our Melee tournament to Sakuri, along with flinging Brawl disks like frisbees. ACTUALLY THAT'D BE YOUTUBE FAME.

Snake is counter to Meta. All the bombs and grenades interferes with his approach system.

Falco kinda fails to meta. The battle leans more towards meta in a 6:4 fashion.

Yeah but it's like the fast characters can get the items more than the slow ones but the slow characters can KO with their moveset. Something like that. Sakurai never wanted Smash to be competitive anyway.

If the fast characters have the items, chances are the 'slow' characters ain't gonna do much KOing with their 'moveset'.

But if you are on a small stage and with 3 other opponents then there are high chances of the slow attacks hitting your opponents and killing them at low percents. Go play Dedede on random wifi and Just forward smash. Lot's of n00bs will run into it.

Small stages really aren't all that small.

Slow characters also have rights for obtaining item hax.

Thats not fixed. They run into it. Camping is hard when there are 4 people. I've seen lot's of n00bs on random wifi running into Ganondorf's Warlock Punch and dying from that and then the ganon player wins the match with 6-8 KOs.

Maybe Wi-Fi is being a turd atm.

You can play anyone :) Just make sure you have their friend code, and they have yours ^_^ I've versed three different people who have Japanese copies of the game.

Camping is easy, in any situation. Doesn't mean you can do it forever though. But it's very easy. :)

You can just stand there as Falco and go PEW PEW PEW. Or with Pit, or with Snake, or with whoever.

You sure participate in Brawl matches with interesting people.

But those people you participate with > Campers.

or maybe > =?
