Fonti! Good to see you back here, it certainly has been a while. I now have meets at my place on Tuesdays every two weeks, but it starts next week. As for Tourneys there is one coming soon, at a new venue, one with big TV's and leather chairs...costs a bit extra but its worth it. Hope to see ya soon!

Reactions aside Xeno, it is Fox who has the fastest attack rate per second. Falco looks like it has the fastest because of his high priority high knockback from EVERY one of his ATTACKS.

Me and some friends have been playing Smash for awhile now and would be interested in entering a tournament, how would we go about doing this?

Hey Edd,

Nice to see a new face around here, for entering tournys pretty much just keep an eye on the forums, and I'll announce when one is coming up. Most likely it will be in 2-3 weeks time, on a saturday or sunday.
Thats if this new venue works out...if not we await the guys at EGG (a gaming club at UTS) to announce one.

But yeah, I'll keep you updated, in the mean time however, if you and your friends want practice, go to some of the meets that people are hosting. I have a biweekly at my place every second tuesday, and many others cover the weekends, so try and make some of them to make youselves known, alot of good players show up to em so you can get some training in.

Serious suggestion: If there's gonna be 8 people, we want 3 tvs.
If we have 3 people per tv, then everyone gets to play most of the matches on their tv.
If there's 4 people per tv, its about half. If there's 5 people per tv (that's 10 of us).. might as well bring your DS.

Turns out the TV's at Game On are too much for the ol' smash, it lags badly...So there goes that idea, so much for a new and exciting venue...it woulda been good too. Ahhh well, spose I'll start looking around some more...though it looks highly unlikely that I'll find anything.

I suspected as much that would happen. Everything in XBOX gaming lounges are tailored to suit HD 1080i quality graphics. OMG smash is soooo bad because I can see any polygons! I need ultra Hi Res images with minimal anti aliasing and polygonal meshing! Its not a game at all if I can see polygons!

Anything of lesser quality (or anything with visibly seen triangles/squares) is basically given the boot by lagging the game or giving out 'unreadable', ocean blue font against brilliant red background.

Keep the search up Simon! If all else fails, at least we have EGG to fall back onto.

Meh, I play games from the 80's and early 90's which have excellent atmospheres.. and thats more important then graphics.

the 1st and snd person go through till semis from elimination....
which would make that the semis....
then from that.... the first and second go through... which means the semis were redundant

and then at the end of the finals.... you proceed to the finals...

animania staff don't like me already because i asked if i could host a tournament there... they responded saying i would be escorted of the premesis if i tried to illigally hold a smash brothers tournament... which i didn't know was against the law...
