How's everyone been? Been doing NG+ with Stella glow and watching things.

Trying to see how much I can still enjoy before school starts back up again tomorrow.

This break I got a lot of gaming progress done. Finished both X's and Stella Glow's main game. Haven't had that much progress in games since my 2014 Thanksgiving break of trying to beat the first Xenoblade game.

Honestly, haven't been keeping up much with smash news of any sort. Not sure if anything major has happened. I see you guys are talking about how Sakurai is apparently working on a new game? Interesting.

You know the one thing that bothers me about this New FE Newcomer.
And it's not even that big a thing.
Why has both the Avatar characters taken their male incarnations as the Main Pose.

Why couldn't we have had one or both of them as the Female Variation.
Mind you if they released the Variations and alt characters as Amiibo I don't think I would mind as much.

If I had to pick one. It would be have to be Alph.
Simply because he might have had the same treatment as the Clone Row had they have gone through with Rock Pikmin idea.

Apparently Sakurai is already getting ready for his next project if I understood correctly. Not sure if you guys knew already.

Anyway, will be looking forward to it. ^^

Because the story of Awakening was originally done with M!Robin in mind and allowed for F!Robin later. Tharja's character being how she is kinda doesn't work as well without the S-Rank option for F!Robin and Tiki seeing Marth in Robin are two things that hint towards this. Alongside that Tiki, Anna, and Say'ri have NO possible mates without M!Robin in the picture.

The general story follows the same thing for Fates, which is why you have one pronounced "brother" and two "sisters" for Nohr and Hoshido. Corrin is meant to balance that out.

For the ones with gender change alts, they all have the default gender in their game
Robin and Corrin's first gender option is the male one
WFT's default gender in Wii Fit is the female iirc

Duck hunt rising

A crossover between uprising and duck hunt and a revival of duck hunt, and a sequel to uprising.

The war between the humans and demons begins again and escalates quicker then expected.

A simple hunter is out with his dog one day, when the war comes to his homefront. Shocked and powerless, the hunter remains defeated and watches in horror as his faithful dog is turned into a 3 headed monster. Hades arises and chuckles, now with a new weapon, Hades lays siege to the surface world.

Palutena, Pit, Virdi, and Dark Pit learn they must work together to stop this war. As Pit is called to the surface world, he finds the now dead hunter. Not wanting another causality, his sole is brought back to the heavens. Palutena tries her best and manages to revive the fallen hunter.

Awakened to new surroundings, he learns what happens, and becomes filled with motivation and new life, and wants to fight Hades and saved the world.

Skeptical at first, the uprising gang manages to make the hunter a powerful ally!

Together they work together to stop hades once and for all!

As for the ducks? The hunter had stopped hunting them long ago and his dog befriended them. Now in the hunters time of need, the ducks are ready to help anyway they can!

There's your new game right there!

I'm not even kidding when I say I'd play the hell out of this!

the ending was veeery disturbing

The AMs were for the character Yelv and they were about him trying to find his best friend who disappeared in a Skell crash (he died). After finding all his parts Yelv faces the truth that his friend passed away and it all ends there.

Except it doesn't.

Cut to another scene with Eleonora (cute mission control lady) and it turns out Yelv is part of a memory implantation experiment and it's implied he's far from the only subject. Ouch.

I need to start doing more Affinity Quests, I want to continue the story since I like it so far, but at the same time, the quests I have done makes me want to do more of them. Plus, it would allow me to get a bit of a level boost since I'm starting to fall behind.

Be prepared to save scum CONSTANTLY once you get one.

Professor Hector and his daughter are stranded on an uncharted planet.

After realizing that the robot with fighting capabilities was damaged, they activate the cargo robot.

They then tell him that he is a battle robot and he needs to go out and find parts they can use to rebuild their ship.

R.O.B. has to explore and find all the parts while coming to grips that he is not in fact a battle robot. Just a lowly cargo robot.

I imagine that the platforming could take advantage of him flying and would have a vertical emphasis as he would stack things up to reach platforms and stuff.

He can later be outfitted with laser and gyro abilities that he can use for combat.

Plenty of holes with it, certainly.
It just feels like the general writing favors M Robin and Corrin and they kinda became defaults because of it.
