Not a fan rule. They've designed the UI with that overscan safety in mind, they aren't going to mess that up because that'd be incredibly unprofessional.

So, let's investigate this first set of picture leaks.

Part 1: Wolf

Wolf seems highly derivative of his Brawl self. The important thing I can note is that it's a new "render", but it's not impossible for it to have been take from a pose or edited. It's somewhat telling that there don't appear to be any graphical improvements or details, but nuances like improved fur could be lost in the poor quality.

Part 2: Adventure

I'm trying to find issues here, but I can't. It's actually pretty interesting to see what seems like non-derpy overlay between G&W, R.O.B, and Duck Hunt. You can even see a shadow effect on the red background.

Part 3: Character Select Screen

The first major flaw; Note how the icons on the CSS go all the way to the side of the screen. The renders look consistent, but Vaanrose has stressed this would be bad UI design due differing aspect ratios.

Part 4: Paper Mario

No real issues. The render is derivative, but as it's been pointed out, there's nothing odd about derivative artwork between the same character made by the same company. This seems fully unique.

Part 5: Music titles

We know that Music screens are easily faked since the template release, but the thing that gets me here (and by far the biggest flaw with this leak) is that two tracks from BIS are on here, but already exist in the game, but these tracks have different and less localized titles, for some reason.

Part 6: Primordia and Paper Mario Medley

This is another potentially big issue. Initially, Primordia seemed especially legit, but I looked close - and compared to the other pictures, which got me looking at Medley.

A: Medley seems ripped from the 3DS version with no graphical update. Very telling.
B: Primordia seems to be an in-game screenshot rip with the quality reduced/lowered to hide it, resulting in inconsistencies in the noticeable detail between it and every other stage shown.

Verdict: 80/20 fake, but some parts of it look really good. Until I got to Medley/Primordia I was almost willing to think that the music titles were a dev error, but it seems like the quality on Primordia is purposefully masked.
