I mean the obvious conclusion is that he's going to be out on/the day after the Direct, but I feel if it was really that soon, they'd put something other than TBA on the site, you know? Even Lucas and Mewtwo had a general timeframe for their releases.

I'm glad they're finally figuring it out. Lucina and Robin still seem to be somewhat hard to find, but you're right, I have been able to find them to import. I was going to be upset if I couldn't get a Roy amiibo.

Well to be honest it doesn't really matter if he's coming the 15th or next year, he's been confirmed. I mean I hate to be that guy but characters do take time.

Actually, that actually is cannon. Anything in the Clone Wars television show is considered cannon and separate from the expanded universe.

So yes, Rex and Asoka are legit characters.

Alright, and as long as it;s not over the top extreme( *looks at Etika and Cloud...) then I don't think it would be much of a problem. IF you edit them in after, that would be nice to!

It all depends on if they hold off on patching Smash until after it or not.

If that patch does get out before the Direct, you can bet it's going to happen. But I think they've learned from that.

Honestly, like you, I never got the "edgy" vibe from Meta Knight. He's honestly a lot more like Zorro than anything else, what with the whole "mysterious masked warrior" thing. Didn't help that Right Back At Ya solidified it with his accent.

I think it was mostly Brawl that caused people to get that impression from Meta Knight. Even though he didn't really give me that vibe personally, I can see it a little with his win quotes and stuff.

However, Meta Knight is now shown to have no problems co-operating with Kirby and he's casually hanging out with him at the start of Return to Dreamland, so yeah, it's mostly just the fandom forcing that idea onto him.

So I finally got around to listening to the gameexplain smash prediction video and I feel people on this thread who complained about it didn't actually watch the video or didn't watch enough of it. While one or two of them did believe it was a traditional vote, it was brought up that it could be an informal vote that was about gauging interest and they mused on the possibility of Cloud being an early choice due to early results being in his favor. This occurred during the first nine minutes of the video, literally within the first third of the video.
