Since the whole "nobody had a problem with spoilers when we were the leaks group" is something I didn't see before...

This isn't the leaks group. This is the Nintenzone Social. Many of the regulars of this thread may come from the leaks group but that doesn't make it fair to recklessly post spoilers.

The thing about the leaks group is that it was specifically made to discuss leaks. If you hung out there, you probably did so with the intention of getting potential early info, or were fine with the possibility of getting early info.

As far as I know though, the Nintenzone board is for discussing Nintendo games. So when I saw the social there, I figured it was supposed to be a hang out spot for Nintendo fans to talk about whatever.

Of course I found out that the leak group sort of migrated here, but not everyone who might stumble upon this thread is going to know that. So it's not fair to assume everyone in this social is OK with having leaks spoil reveals for them. So it doesn't hurt to be mindful of that.

If a leak is to be posted, I would hope it's spoilered. That way I can take that as my cue to abstain from internet use until the direct. It wouldn't be too hard either for me, I'm pretty much only using it a little when I am not playing Xenoblade.

Judging from the fact Linkle AND the Wind Waker troupe lacks a villain, it makes sense we'd get Toon Ganondorf to complete the Wind Waker trifecta.

Well, it could be that regular Ganondorf or one of the existing villains is attacking Hyrule Castle...but that's boring.
I'd really like to think that Vaati will be featured in some way...especially considering they have stuff from Phantom Hourglass and Spirit Tracks alongside the Wind Waker content.

People won't shut up regardless if it's confirmed as final or not. Let's make a hypothetical scenario in which the presentation passes, it's said to be the last characters and Wolf isn't among them at all.

"BUT U GUISE THEY'RE JUST DELAYING HIM 4 STAIRFAX ZERO SO HE'LL TIE IN OFC CLEVER MARKETING".

This is the easiest scenario to think of. There are tons more examples, yes, but this is easily the most exploitable one. You'll see people claiming "oh, we'll get an announcement of MORE characters once the last one drops!"

People are that stubborn. This is practically inevitable.

To be perfectly honest, while I used to be in the 'Wolf for marketing' camp, I've actually just about given up hope for him.

Star Fox Zero just had a huge presentation, and Wolf didn't come with it. We're talking about a Brawl character who, let's be honest, shouldn't have been much harder to make than Lucas (oh, and let's not forget; Lucas got into Sm4sh before Wolf, despite Wolf being more recent and arguably more popular).

I can't be certain of anything anymore, but I just have a bad feeling that Wolf's time has passed. It's certainly still possible, I'm not saying it isn't - it just doesn't seem as likely as it used to.
