Oh yeah, that was a thing. What was the name of it again?

And since it's so common to ask this in this thread, I need some anime recommendations
Now that I have free time, I can finally watch OPM and Jojo part 3, but I need to fill 3 months with animes and all good cartoons are on hiatus
Can't remember, but it had science love iirc
How about something of my caliber? Either that or the magical boy thing, searching mahou shoujo boy should be enough

Dream Drop Distance is the first KH Game i have beaten. I played RE: Chain of Memories back in 2011, but i never got past Traverse Town since i didn't had a Memory Card (i never could find one). I haven't even touced the other KH games.
How in the **** did you get through DDD without playing the previous games? Im getting confused just thinking about it. DDD confused me and I had played every game
(of course I played that at completely random intervals without a lot of focus but still. . .)

But yeah KH1.5 is your best bet. You get KH 1 FM and Chain of memories which is the next game. (not including the Roxas game)

Um...what's the difference?
It doesn't really seem like much of an increase at all.
It's not it more texture, lighting, and viewing angle.
The first pic is a head on shot with very soft lighting; it makes it hard to tell depth, i.e. boob size.
The next shots are at angles with a darker colored texture under her boobs that give a greater sense of depth, and since the shot is at an angle and the lighting/shading is much stronger it's easier to perceive her actual boob size.

...why do we always end up on topics like this?

Hey guys, wanna talk about boob sliders again? :bee:

EDIT:
What do you mean what am I trying to suggest?

Lucina has a small bust (almost flat, even), Samus has a larger one.

That isn't an insult, it's fact.

This is official artwork.

I'm not insulting the characters or saying one is better looking than the other (I'm demisexual so since I have no attachment to Samus or Lucina, neither attract me). But don't take offense to me stating a blatant fact.

I mean if anything, Lucina being flat meant she had an easier time disguising as Marth, and her chest doesn't get in the way in combat.
With Lucina, I see what you're saying, but that's a terrible pic to use when arguing that something was done for fanservice lol

Additionally, it's just an assumption that things were done for fanservice. It's a fair assumption, but unless you were involved in the process it's still an assumption.

I used to be really into to Lego, but then I lost interest. This was mainly due to the cancellation of Bionicle and lack of new series that interested me. I wish the y would revive Johnny Thunder and the Adventurers, as well as Lego Island and do a western reboot series ( Its the only old series they haven't done a reboot for yet).
I really hope the new Bionicle Netflix mini series is good (aka they actually have different voice actors for each character).
Also **** Mr. Gold. Easily one of the worst stunts Lego pulled.

Why is Alabama so important to Nintendo?:troll:
Bionicles, were fun, wish they still did a lot with themI love to build legos and have a lot. It's great to see what they look like wehn done! Never cred to much for the shows though.

And what's with the thread title?

Unrelated but who the **** is Ted
no really
Ted (aka ExandShadow) is a member of BrainScratchComms, a moderately popular and well respected game commentary channel.

------------------

I won't get into the nitty gritty of every point brought up on the review here, but kinda bouncing off what Derrick said, you don't always need an established fan of the series to review a game. In all honesty, with something like PMD, it's a niche thing and anyone who fits the niche will more than likely like it regardless (whether or not it's as much as previous games is entirely subjective). However, not everyone molds into a niche and the opinions of those people are needed in the journalistic space. I've only played a little bit of PMD on the GBA as well as the demo for the last 3DS one, and while I like the concept of a world inhabited only by Pokémon where they have actual dialogue, yes, the gameplay was boring to me and I wish it wasn't a generic dungeon crawler (I'd prefer an action-adventure game). Ted's review tells someone like me that the series hasn't really improved on the formula enough for me to have a better time than with either of my previous experiences. If it was just a fanboy of the series gushing about it, it wouldn't tell me much because I'm not a long time fan. Even if you are a fan of the series, I still think you should be able to say whether or not your friend would actually like such a game, or whatever.

It's not the lighting or the angle. They are clearly smaller than in Smash.

Here's a picture from Smash at a front angle and in literally the exact same location.

They're far bigger than they were in Wii Fit. And that's not even getting into characters like Peach or Palutena.

Xenoblade X ad popped up on my Wii U.

The hype is real.
I've heard that Nintendo are actually advertising it quite a bit now. A friend of mine saw an ad for it on Twitch for example.

Literally this thread right now.

Seriously I get why this is a discussion but I don't get why it's as serious as it is. :V

GameXplain's review on Super Mystery Dungeon is, well, lol.
Yes, the story matters more. Yes, the gameplay is repetitive but I don't really understand why "REPETITIVE IS A NEGATIVE" when all Mystery Dungeon games have been like this.

Let's drop the boob discussion, guys. It's skating into inappropriate territory. Anyone continuing it, including responding to this part of this message, will receive an infraction.

Also I'm really glad the recent US amiibo restocks in the US happened. While I don't particularly want/I already own the ones that got restocked, it's great for anyone that wants/needs any of the following: :4fox::4greninja::4myfriends::4littlemac::4lucario::4marth::4villager:(at TRU):4darkpit:(at Best Buy):4falcon::4shulk:.

Now where are the :4samus::4dedede::4robinm::4lucina: restocks, NoA? I still need them. :p

To be honest, the only Mystery Dungeon I played was the first one and thought it was okay. I probably wouldn't mind trying out the latest one though.

IMO just because other games does it too doesn't mean they should excuse the criticism as they see fit. It's all subjective after all. Repetitiveness can bore some people.

Although I've realized that Mystery Dungeon seems to be more of an acquired taste kind of game. I do wonder how I'd feel about Mystery Dungeon now compared to my 2007 self.

I loved Red Rescue Team and Explorers of Time, but the Gates to Infinity demo really rubbed me the wrong way honestly. I'm glad to hear Super is an improvement, and I may pick it up when I don't have an already massive to-buy list.

Anyone remember this game?

I randomly decided to play Wario World yesterday and had a blast.
This game is basically my introduction to the greatness that is Wario. It's a really unique game, a combination of a beat-em-up and a collectathon platformer.

Its only issue is being extremely short; I 100% beat the game in about 3 hours.

I wonder when we'll ever get a sequel with a co-op mode starring Wario and Waluigi.

If you do ever decide to, play Explorers of sky first. Because A. It's pretty good, and B. SMD actually references each of the past games quite a bit. There's a lot more you'll find enjoyable if you go in with a bit more prior knowledge.

HAVE A RRRRRROTTEN DAY.

The game is a blast but it REALLY needed more variety in enemies and level design. The bosses were amazing though.

It's pretty subjective yes. It's basic gameplay for the series though, which is why I found it weird to criticize that aspect of the game. I mean I don't necessarily disagree with him; the dungeons can become quite tedious sometimes.

On a different subject for the moment, been meaning to post this:

Before I decide to buy Gunvolt on sale, I've learned there was a demo on e-shop. ...Can I say that I'm glad I did that? Because I didn't really enjoy the game much.

I think the gameplay mechanics are pretty decent although the difficulty is a bit of a pushover thanks to them. But the level design felt... barebones, repetitive (the levels really repeat themselves), long and just unexciting. I can't tell if the level design is as lazy as ZX Advent's or more so. It's definitely no where near the quality of the Zero games, that had more varied level design. This one's just too flat and dull.

And I wasn't exactly a fan of the boss fights. This one dude was down to his last health and started going all bullet hell on me, and there was literally no way for me to dodge his attacks. What's going on there? Am I missing something?

But yeah overall, a really dull game in my opinion, so I decided to not buy the game. I hope the sequel fixes my complaints because I can't really see myself having fun with the rest of the game.

It's pretty subjective yes. It's basic gameplay for the series though, which is why I found it weird to criticize that aspect of the game. I mean I don't necessarily disagree with him; the dungeons can become quite tedious sometimes.
Well, the whole point of criticism is to wanting things to improve. If they don't like a certain aspect then I feel they have the right to criticize it. After all, criticism goes a very long way, and I say this as someone who is developing a game.

Indeed.
The theme music for the first two levels - Greenhorn Forest and Ruins - are great.
And they both got official remixes, the former in Dance Dance Revolution Mario Mix, the latter in Wario Land Shake It.

None of these opportunities to include Wario World music were taken.
WTF?

If the basic gameplay has flaws, objective or subjective, they are still worth pointing out.

Hell, if your basic gameplay isn't fun then your game is likely no better than mediocre.

Wario World is one of the more bizarre games I've ever played. The enemies look really weird.

I played the hell out of Explorers of Time, but didn't feel the need to buy Sky. I know basically all of the differences from the original Time and Darkness though, so it's all good. :p

Judging from how short the game is, I'm guess there wasn't much to work with.
Which is why I want a sequel more. There's so much they could do with this game.

I had a vision, in the December presentation, the next third-party character was... (*Drum Roll*) Jill Valentine from Resident Evil! She didn't use guns though, but she did use a bazooka, a knife, a pepper gun, and more. She also had her outfit from the original Resi, and her outfit from Revelations. There was also a stage based off the house from the original Resi. However her FS wasn't shown. It was just a vision from me though...

I played red rescue team. That game infuriated me with how much grinding you needed to do some times.

It didnt help the partner was a complete moron who ended most of my runs. Never finished it.

Then i played another for DS that had the exact same problems. Was not happy.

As for wario world i rented it from blockbuster. Was a really fun game but i could never find a copy at gamestop so i never wound up owning it. Which is unfortunate because it was great :/

I played a demo for Etrian Odyssey or something on the 3DS.

I thought it was pretty fun and the demo was fairly big. The battle theme was also amazing.

As far as story and characters go, I like Mystery Dungeon better than the main Pokemon series.

I just find the grand majority of the human characters in Pokemon to be utterly boring in every way possible.
