Hey guys, I'll keep this brief since I should just be packing my stuff.

It's just a lot of trouble at home that's been going on for years, it's hit a breaking point many times before but now it's worse than it's ever been and none of my family want to take me in this time. Don't worry about me being on the streets or anything though, they've been telling me they'll call my dad and I'm sure he'll hunt me down. I'm more worried about that, though.

I probably won't be around here anymore though, since I won't have internet no matter where I go. I don't know how the news got all the way in here, but thank you all so much.

Just going to point out, again, that I rented the first Xtreame Beach Volley ball through Gamefly on a lark and actually ended up buying a used copy because the simple, arcadey gameplay reminded me of NES sports titles.

I actually liked it quite a bit and digital anime girls are really not my thing.

Gaming news sites are obsessed with clicks these days so pump out nothing but rumors and editorials freaking out that games dare have boobs in them. You're better off sticking to game reviewing channels on youtube. The law of effort vs quality means they need to put time and effort into them so they're likely to be better.

On the SJW and PlayAsia incident.

I can't help but feel that PlayAsia is trying to be opportunistic. They saw a chance for great marketing on their services and took it. I'm also not 100% convinced that SJW/Gamergate shut down localization for DoAX3, as the other ones did pretty mediocre in sales. Here's a blog post the explains it.

No, it's just that people need a scapegoat, so they instantly pull up Gamergate which should've been buried into the ground a long time ago. Even though the game sold like crap in the West and no one actually liked it, they feel a sense of """justice for gamers""" when keyboard warriors try to protect video games and pretend that it's """censorship by le evil SJWs""" when it's actually just smart business. Because 95% of people wouldn't buy it out of actual desire to play it anyways.

Same thing happened with minor changes to Street Fighter 5 and Skullgirls which removed butt/crotch shots, which were most likely just artistic vision changes as opposed to the boogeymen forcing the developers to change it to their liking.

Good game news site for reviews? Typically I find, honestly, IGN better than a lot of places, despite what people say about "Too much water" and the like. That being said I typically just look at the average of all major review scores (while ignoring anything associated with the tabloid-esque trash that is Gawker) and look at the most common complaints between them.

I recognised the tune (I think it's official name is "Opening - Bombing Mission", if my memory of playing Dissidia is correct), but I was kind of in disbelief. I was trying to convince myself that it was just something that sounded AWFULLY similar, until the Final Fantasy logo started to appear.

While you shouldn't treat reviews as gospel for either side of the good bad spectrum, it is wise to pay attention to see if multiple reviews share similar opinions or report on the same problems.

I mean, if every single review of the PC port of Arkham Knight agrees that it's a broken and barely functional title, then that's obviously something to keep in mind.

Dead or Alive Volleyball 3 not coming westward, apparently due to the current attitudes.
Play Asia calls the lack of localisation "SJW nonsense" and says they'll have the Asian-English version available for import (i.e. business as usual)

If you completely remove every Water-type and their evolutions from OR/AS's PokeDex, you still have 165 Pokemon.
Plenty of room for different teams.
