So I've been noticing that on Google News, there are now articles (from low tier "news" sites) popping up saying Shovel Knight has been deconfirmed for Smash just because Yacht said so.

I don't get it. That didn't stop them from baselessly making articles saying he's possibly in when there was barely any solid proof.

It's journalism. Aside from a few people who actually do their job(Sourcegaming of course), most journalism is just clickbait inaccurate garbage.
