I don't know the exact numbers (sure, there's VGChartz, but that's not always accurate), but some drastic changes were made to the first two games, resulting in them being critically panned and selling poorly.

Spyro pretty much always took a backseat to Crash in Japan. He was nowhere near as successful there as he was in NA and Europe (all of the original trilogy sold at least a million copies separately in those regions).

Thanks, that's kind of disheartening to hear as a Spyro fan, but at least it gives a picture of how much of a presence he has there.

I'd just like to see the image of Snake, Cloud, and Crash all together in Smash 4. It's one thing if Nintendo got Snake and Cloud for Smash individually, but if they got CRASH and SNAKE back as well for this game?

Sony actually distributed it in everywhere but Japan.

Considering how characters in Smash never have alternate costumes and the fact that design is so non-essential, it almost seems like a dig at Sony. Lol.

I wamt to know who at GF thought it was a good idea to reveal Gundam!Zygarde and the Pokemon XY&Z arc months before the actual Pokemon Z
Why must they tease me?

Also, I hope they finally do a Pokemon boss
Kinda like Black/White Kyurem but Taken Up To Eleven
The battle starts with the weak Zygarde cells in a Horde Battle and after you defeat them, they fuse and form Doggo!Zygarde, after that, it turns into Standard Zygarde and then finally goes into Perfect Zygarde form
Makes it kinda work like a standard Pokemon battle but with no trainer
And hopefully Perfect Zygarde is Not His Final Form and gets his One Winged Angel form and Mega Evolves

People raise the point of what would Nintendo have to gain by allowing Banjo in Smash (other than a hefty profit which I guess doesn't count).

But the same question could be asked about Microsoft allowing Minecraft on Nintendo systems. Assuming we do get it (which, to be fair we still might not, you never know for sure until it happens), it does seem like the two are willing to play ball with each other.

Well it looks like the news about the terrorist attacks in Paris have reached across the world and these boards too.

Let me inform you I'm fine, as I'm actually living in the South-East of France, and that everyone in my family and among my close friends haven't been injured either.

On a brighter side, with Cloud being in Smash, I think I finally gonna get into my Bravely Default copy, since I received it for Christmas 2 years ago.

Well, its only sponsored, Sony didn't fund it completely, unlike with Nintendo and what they did with Bayonetta 2, either way, Square owns all the rights to Cloud no matter the project, so if Square wants Cloud to have t his outfit from Kingdom Hearts, Cloud can have it, Disney can't say anything about it.

Yeah honestly I think we'd need Crash AND Spyro for everything to feel complete.
Crash is more popular, but also kinda dead.
Meanwhile, Spyro is still kicking. (although he looks dead in Skylanders)

Even @Serebii says that it's probably movie news in corocoro as they get announced around this time and we know that Zygarde is the focus of the next movie. Why wouldn't it? Those moves were made with classic Sonic in mind.
They're taken from classic Sonic games and Sonic the Fighters.

I disagree.
Sonic's modern design has been used a lot longer than the classic design, so it's arguably the most recognizable.
Pac-Man's classic design was used for 30 years, so it made sense to use that for Smash.
I wouldn't be against a Classic Sonic alt though, even if it would be tricky.

This is the last time corocoro announced a game. Before, the other titles were shown off and then in coroco. So 8 years come December 31st
