Speaking of places I just saw a dude watching porn in public. Like A cafeteria level of public. He isn't even facing a wall he is pretty much has the screen visible to everyone in the busiest hallway. It's a giant screen too.

That man needs to get help if he can't stay off porn in public areas. Many people today have NO idea of the danger of excessive porn use.

The only thing we have to go by that may possibly lead to the idea he's a ballot-related character (which would imply Cloud was decided on before the ballot even ended) is Sakurai off-handedly referring to him as a "difficult request". Which says nothing about him specifically being picked for the Japanese.

EDIT: And going back to the "difficult request" part, Sakurai also mentioned that while Lucas, Roy, and Ryu were in development before the ballot was created, he had a grasp on their popularity and demand beforehand.
So all in all, Cloud could easily be like they were. Chosen not because of ballot requests, but from requests beforehand.

I personally prefer the occasional ounce of humanity vs a stone faced cold hard fact person.
I have no issue with a reporter condemning a terrorist act instead of just reporting on it and counting how many people died. I just dont think fact and opinion have to be separated.

Don't get me wrong, there are ways that the reporter's humanity can shine through. That doesn't require them to interject their own opinions though.

It's just the way I view things, mainly since that's the first thing we're taught when we start taking classes in journalism, as a print journalism major myself.

Controversy always gets people talking, and always sparks human curiousity. More controversy = more sales, this is a fact.

What I'm saying is, even if the content weren't controversial, people would still buy Grand Theft Auto. The vast majority of the tens of millions of people who buy each entry aren't buying it just because it offends their grandma or neighbor, they buy it because they want to buy a high quality video game with good gameplay, combat, story, soundtrack, and production value.

I wouldn't call it petty. Not to sound sappy but it's the little things that can make a big difference.

I'm personally "meh" on Cloud. I'm not against him, but outside the initial hype of his reveal, I really don't care that he's in the game.

And I would imagine the difficulty is not from the PlayStation vs. Nintendo presence, but from working on licensing to get him in since Square Enix had no part of Smash 4 until now.
Granted, Street Fighter content is under Capcom USA instead of the main branch of Capcom, but it's still part of Capcom...

It's called being socially insensitive. Sometime you gotta read the mood dude. Just because something is true doesnt make it helpful and it doesnt mean it needs to be said. Of course there are worse things, but those worse things aren't happening now and bringing them up while people are still reeling from this is pretty insensitive.

I mean if someone's mom died and you said well at least all your friends and family aren't dead (assuming it's true), do you really think that's appropriate for the moment. Empathy, my friend. Empathy.

I'm currently having trouble with Best Buy's customer service. Anyone work there or had any luck with what I'm trying to do?

I pre-ordered FE: Fates months ago and am trying to cancel it to pre-order the special edition instead, and multiple people including managers have told me it's impossible to cancel a pre-order. They're saying I have to wait to until the game comes out and then return it to get my money back, which is BS and just flat out not true because I've done it before. I tried in store, online, and calling.
