I would of been down for some Ayumi action. Basically a school girl version of Phoenix Wright...kinda. Maybe using her magnifying lens as a laser beam. Though she's pretty obscure even by Japan standards. Which leads me to think that she might be a fighter. She was a trophy back in Melee and a sticker in Brawl. I just wonder what Famicon Detective could offer to Smash besides Ayumi being a playable character. Like in stages, trophies, assists, music, etc. That's what I wonder abou when talking about character inclusions. The last of substantial Street Fighter/Final Fantasy content left me hungry for more. Especially concerning FF.

Also, while I love SFV and want to the play **** out of it, I'm not happy how they have been releasing characters. Alex was like "oh cool. Alex finally came." And Guile was like "Oh...Guile...nice uniform." I feel like Killer Insinct has done a much better job at releasing character information and endearing hype about additional characters. I just feel like the SFV character introductions to be lackluster compared to the pre-release period. Anyways, as long I get to see Juri back in action - I'm fine. I love me some Juri.

All this discussion about bad abilities, and yet no one brings up Sleep.

I mean, there's no denying that it's so bad that it just transcends reality and writes itself out of existence in terms of anyone thinking about copy abilities, but for the sake of the discussion I may as well point out that you still technically copy it and it's still objectively worse than. . .pretty much any ability.

Unless they programmed some kind of use into it in later games I'm not aware of. . .or if we're specifically talking about Robobot or something and they removed it between Triple Deluxe and Robobot.

Robobot has it. In Air Ride,you can infect the other racers with Sleep and in Squeak Squad/Mouse Attack, it healed you

It's still probably the worst ability in Squeek squad, but it CAN heal you if you need it

The healing part had to be unlocked, SS/MA had ability scolls which would give abilities extra moves
