Reminds me of when I went to see Video Games Live. The grand finale of every concert is One Winged Angel but it's the only song in the entire concert that they cannot show gameplay footage to go along with the music, same goes for the songs they occasionally play from FF8 and Chrono Trigger.

I don't see how her moveset is so unique, she can pin the ground and her forward smash can hurt you while it charges. Rest of the moveset is basically Meta Knight if he were in Fire Emblem.

But that does make me wonder, why doesn't meta knight have his down thrust he's had in every single appearance of his. It'd seem like such a shoo in. And plus I always spammed it in Kirby Super Star Ultra, because rule of cool.

That said, their latest kickstarter for their 5th album succeeded. Will have music from Super Mario World, Zelda, Metroid, and Phoenix Wright among other titles. I was really hoping he'd be playable. Maybe he intended to, but couldn't think of a way to make him feel unique enough. And would've been on the consideration list, but not the main one(like apparently RH was, and obviously the cut characters. Geno was likely on the pre-consideration list, like in Brawl, but that seems to be what Sakurai could be implying in his interview related to some of the DLC).

I suspect dozens of unused characters were on the preliminary lists.

Honestly if SE is going to hold up Nintendo for money like that then I would much rather them not use any additional SE characters really. Especially if they're not going to go all the way and get as much SE content as possible like Trophies, Assist Trophies, and more than 2 tracks.

Tell SE to stop being money grubbing aholes or just call it a day with Cloud as the only SE character. Unless you're going to meet their demands and go all the way which I wouldn't do personally because theirs a broad range of 3rd party characters that can be added that aren't SE related.

I dunno. Characters are what matters most. Stages next. At least to the majority of people. I love the additional content as much as the next person, but I'd take characters like Crono and Neku as we got Cloud over not at all. Hypothetically ofc, as I don't see getting either of those any time soon...

There is a new TMNT 2 trailer that came out today, and because of it I think I've figured out one of the major conflicts in the movie

At the beginning of the trailer it shows the turtles wanting to walk among humans, using Halloween as an example of them attempting to. At least mikey. Raph quickly grabs mikey and tells him they can NEVER walk among humans

Later in the trailer it shows Donetello discovering the properties of the new purple mutagen that rapidly created bebop and rocksteady. It seems to have the effect on the turtles to make them human, demonstrated by donetello using it on his hand and his fingers splitting into 5 fingers.

It then shows Raph and Leo fighting, with Raph saying they finally have a chance to be humans and walk on the surface not as freaks. With Leo fighting back they are who they are and they shouldn't change that.

In a different trailer it DOES show the turtles up on the surface with people as heroes, so that's going to be the resolution to the conflict. They don't HAVE to use the mutagen.

To be honest though Nomura finds the characters image to be very important, which explains why Cloud's alts are one shade apart from the next...with the reddish one being the most standout(ish)...he has a very artistic sense about him that you can see in a lot of his games...

Example....Nomura has stated how he wants fans of FFVII to focus more on Tifa's character instead of her 'assets', hence her safer redesign in Advent Children...

It is also why FFVII Remake will be Episodic because he wants to make the most of the Remake since a lot will have to be cut if he tries to condense it into a single game...FFVII barely fit on the PlayStation, and with the quality of games these days, with the high level graphics and whatnot, it'd be pretty much impossible to get the full story into a single game...sure it will cost more money for the fans in the long run, but it isn't going to be a fraction of the product...

Si. I don't like the idea of spending money on a character I don't want in the game. Almost like I support said character's inclusion by throwing money at the company for doing it. I don't have people who I play Smash with (I play Smash Bros solo all the time except for rare occasions) so i'm not even enticed to do that either. Same thing goes for Bayo.

The cool thing about it is that I used that same 15-20 bucks to buy both Advance Wars game on the VC and I couldn't be happier with myself for doing that. Having a blast playing both games and maybe to my own detriment because I tend to play it too much lol.

Yeah, it does indeed at least look better than the last one. I mean, of course I'll have to see the movie with my own two eyes to judge if it really is. But it at least looks decent.

She acts as something of a mother figure to the main crew, keeping spirits up and caring for the others...Her loyalty to Cloud is pretty much her biggest fault and one of her greatest strengths as she uses Cloud's example to help lead the crew in his absence

She also helped Cloud get out of his vegetative state, which in turn basically stopped him from being delusional, which in turn made him stronger as an individual; she is basically the light to counter Cloud's inner darkness, as angsty as that sounds...

main point is, she is more than just a pretty face, which is what Nomura was getting at, tifa was getting a lot of attention from the fans when FFVII first dropped but it wasn't the right kind of attention...

I guess I'm fine with Audrey Hepburn, but I've honestly haven't done much research on her. I know she's one of those famous actresses from "The golden age" like Marilyn Monroe. While EVERYONE here is a marilyn monroe fan, I'm really not. She's in magazines all the time, which I see at work and quite attractive.
