EarthboundThis game is still missing an earth-themed RPG guy.
Well considering RPGs have large casts that while engaging for the term of the game don't tend to remain iconic, which subsequently lead to their dropping in latter games... Though Roy's game is more turn based strategy with a heavy RPG focus than a pure RPG.Do you guys realise that out of the 5 known DLC characters, 4 of them are from RPGs.
A certain Tactical Espionage Action game?I mean, who doesn't like RPG characters?
We should make it a 5/7 or even a 6/8, right?
Because we still need a certain character from a certain action game
PAPER MARIO CONFIRMED!!!!Do you guys realise that out of the 5 known DLC characters, 4 of them are from RPGs.
Yep.Do you guys realise that out of the 5 known DLC characters, 4 of them are from RPGs.
With the Playsation's most well known RPG hero on the system we are fast approaching an event horizon where Smash will have everyone and everything. Also, I wouldn't be surprised if there isn't a Geno Mii costume. I wonder if an Agnes Mii costume is possible?
Our next character, logically, should wield an actual RPG to complete the cycle.Do you guys realise that out of the 5 known DLC characters, 4 of them are from RPGs.
Just discussing what went down last night.So... did anything happen in the last pages of the thread? The thread moved up significantly and I was wondering if there's anything important in there I should potentially know about.
Snake confirmed with a brand new side specialOur next character, logically, should wield an actual RPG to complete the cycle.
Man, if we get Banjo as DLC, imagine the reactions of great surprise...Lol @ people upset over Cloud.
I personally don't much care for him, but I was certainly surprised.
If anything, it means:
...is all but confirmed at this point. It's obvious they're trying to go for big gaming icons that generate lots of hype for some of the DLC.
Considering the waves the possibility of Banjo being in made earlier this year, as well as the fact that Nintendo x M$ relations are good, well.
Though there will still be naysayers in denial. But, I also love how Cloud pretty much debunks everything naysayers could say about Banjo.
I await your salt in December.
Oh yeah, as for the Direct as a whole. It was pretty **** (amiibo, more amiibo, stuff we knew, and remakes oh my!! - Nintendo is creatively dead), but it had silver lining moments (glad to see Fast Racing NEO at least got some attention, game looks dope).

I don't remember espionage in TW101...A certain Tactical Espionage Action game?
I want Banjo a lot too, but I'm going to remember this post. This is a lot of confidence over not much right now.Lol @ people upset over Cloud.

I would love this so much but don't you think you're getting a bit ahead here? People have acted like so many characters have been guaranteed in the past.Lol @ people upset over Cloud.

When you're wanting variety, it's not the best thing.Yep.
Well, that's not necessarily a bad thing, is it?
I unironically support this. The original BFG9000 for best final smash ever.Doomguy.
Why the hell not.
Well, I think there is a very strong case for their addition for numerous reasons.I would love this so much but don't you think you're getting a bit ahead here? People have acted like so many characters have been guaranteed in the past.
I do think it's interesting that there's some possible Microsoft/Nintendo collaboration going on, but I don't think that points to Smash yet.
They would have endless moveset potential though.
While Im joking around, I wouldnt mind him in. Smash would become the true Video Games: The Video Game. With the main theme of Crash 3? Okay doke. I enjoyed playing his PS1 games and he makes sense as a third-party character so... coolio?
You're right. The only way I can see is if the 3rd parties were opened up to the level of the other Nintendo series so they could get multiple stages and characters. This game has raised the standard when it comes to Smash rosters and it's going to be difficult to top it in a sequel.
What moves would she even have tho. Nathan Drake was silly enough, but what would Lara do?You know, if one day every third-party company in Smash Bros. got two characters, we could totally have Lara Croft and holy **** that would so amazing.
I'm going to make a collage right now.
Which Lara do you have in mind? The more iconic two guns (and twin pistols) Lara of old or the more moveset inspiration diverse brutal death scene Lara of today? You know, if one day every third-party company in Smash Bros. got two characters, we could totally have Lara Croft and holy **** that would so amazing.
I'm going to make a collage right now.
A little bit of both.Which Lara do you have in mind? The more iconic two guns (and twin pistols) Lara of old or the more moveset inspiration diverse brutal death scene Lara of today?
If it was modern Lara her moveset would be impaling herself on virious objects while moaning eroticaly.Which Lara do you have in mind? The more iconic two guns (and twin pistols) Lara of old or the more moveset inspiration diverse brutal death scene Lara of today?
I'd wonder if @N3ON's heart will be able to handle it.What would your reaction be if Isaac's the next character to be revealed?
The guns may pose a problem but that's easily fixed. Make Doom Guy 2D and pixelated like he appeared in the original games and make his bullets pixelated so they can pass off as Mega Man lemons.Doomguy.
Why the hell not.
No kidding.I still live in a world where Cloud is in Smash even when I wake up.
This will take a long time to process.
