I'm sorry, but when I take a step back and look at THIS:

I'm sorry, but absolutely nothing in the world can make me upset at Sakurai. This is the BEST roster Smash has ever had, hands down. To poo-poo it because of one character is ludicrous. And to top it off, there's still at least 2 more characters yet to join the fray.

I'm sad that Ice Climbers were cut. I bemoaned Lucas' removal before his DLC. I went through denial about Mewtwo not being in the game before his reveal during the @vaanrose/Ninka leak. I hate the fact that Inklings may not get in after all, but I don't hate the game. I love this roster.

This is small, but I really love how Ryu is facing Cloud, like he's saying "wow holy ****, you too?"

Definitely Megaman. I grew up playing the games and watching all the Nico Nico vids like Air Man and OKKUSENMAN!.

Sonic was big too, if only because it was a huge "I TOLD YOU SO!" to a friend of mine.

Anyway, for me, it's Pac-man. I never did a complete 180 degree on a character like that, ever. He excited me a lot.

This is tough, but I had to give it to Pac-Man. Getting the classic version over the GA version put me over the moon. He's closely followed by Mega Man and Ryu though.

Having Sonic in the same game with Mario, Snake AND a bunch of other Nintendo franchises absolutely blew my mind back then. Also helps that I'm just a big Sonic guy.

Little did I know that they'd somehow surpass that...

Those were some...interesting times to say the least.

Kind of funny how in retrospect we did end up losing a Mother character (which DLC later fixed) and Mewtwo did end up getting an October reveal...an entire year later.

I'm conflicted as to whether or not I even want to buy Cloud. I went into this DLC with the mentality that I would probably get everyone, but I can't really foresee myself getting any pleasure out of his appearance in Smash.

As one of the biggest Zelda fans this side of Smashboards I am the happiest ****** in the world.
At first I was let down by TPHD, but honestly I don't know what I was hoping for.

By itself, I think it looks fine...and the high res textures are definitely noticeable. And I am absolutely dying to hear what changes they are making and what the amiibos do.

Honestly I like the transition between TP and TPHD more than WW and WWHD because there's no change in atmosphere.
