So recently my family has been trying to go through our family history. And I gotta say it's pretty interesting with what we found.

Like apparently on my father's side not only did we have knights that fought in the War of the Roses, but also had a few that battled alongside William the Conqueror.
Hell my mother's side had barons and baronesses.


Sure would love to know where all that money went to though.

One question, what counts a sucess in game sales for non-indie productions? Everyone's cheering 300,000 Fire Emblem sales while the Tomb Raider reboot posted losses after selling millions. I guess it's gotta do with the amount of bus adverts they take out.

The only thing that makes a game a commercial success is sales relative to budget.

You can sell a billion copies but if that doesn't make you a good profit then it's not a success.

Fire Emblem doesn't require near the amount of budget the modern Tomb Raider games do. I believe Nintendo has stated that if they made an FE game for Wii U, it would need to sell around 750,000 units for them to consider it successful, implying they know the kind of budget they would dedicate to a Wii U Fire Emblem game.

Inkling was just a case of bad timing. She would have gotten far worse treatment as a DLC character than by being saved until the next game.

And you're saying Sakurai would never save a character because he treats each game as his last, so you think he MUST have snubbed her. I think that new interview implies something to the contrary, even if you wouldn't have known it at the time.

Inkling and K. Rool have very different issues behind their exclusions. It hurts my brain seeing them lumped together like this.

They're basically at two ends of the spectrum, one is old and irrelevant, while the other is new and very relevant, they have almost nothing in common...

Daisy is a bit interesting to say the least, I like her agressiveness in her personality, but sometimes the fans over exaggerate how good of a character she is.

IMO, it goes like Rosalina >>>>> Diasy > Peach.
I think Daisy has a more lively personality and is pretty tomboyish. Certainly not 1-dimensional like someone else said. Peach has a more damsel in distress and royal personality. I just prefer Daisy's a bit more.

You can fairly easily make two different and unique movesets for BOTH Daisy & Waluigi however they will all have to be based on the Spinoffs & Creative Licence.

I see NO difference in moveset potential between the two. They are at a equal level imo. Paper Mario is another Mario, no thanks. I don't find his moves even a little appealing as it doesn't seem exciting nor my style. The stage is enough representation. It's already more than what Mario Sports has.

However....I also believe there should be no Mario newcomers in the next game. But I'd be fine with whoever joins... even Paper M.

They have so many different lumps and groups and are in a very small but very vocal echochamber plus they don't exactly know or perhaps care about support elsewhere unless it has K Rool somewhere at the top of a poll.

I'm not surprised about the outrage and riots happening there after the Decemeber direct.

Nevertheless, the salt was absolutely hilarious. It was like watching little kids fight over a toy but on the internet over a video game character.

They should have seen it coming ever since the K Rool mii. It never made business sense to me to release both a mii & character when they could have had K Rool & a mii outfit for other fans of a different character.

But I'm happy they remained optimistic and continued supporting till the very end. It still helps.
