The one who holds the name of "Sheik" is basically viewed and looked up to as the hero of that generation's Sheikah. Zelda originally came up with her own Sheik disguise based off this legend, when she felt compelled to actively protect Hyrule from the shadows. Upon seeing the first, real Sheik in Smash, Zelda forbid herself from wearing her disguise, afraid of Sheik seeing it as mockery. Sheik doesn't know of this, but would be flattered if she found out. Despite her passionate aggressiveness in battle, Sheik is actually an extremely calm, gentle, and loving soul.
