Some of my headcanons:

They also personally tallied the Smash Ballot, and made a bet - if a character from their represented company won, then the other three would have to throw the biggest party ever for the winner of the bet, and for the character who won (if a character from none of their companies won, then they would all simply throw something for the ballot winner). Sonic won the bet, and now his 25th Anniversary party is being organised by the other three, and got a huge party too.

For Sonic: E.G.G.M.A.N or Knuckles (Tails is okay too)

For Final Fantasy: Cecil or Terra (i would say Black Mage but everybody else mentioned him)

For Metal Gear: Raiden.

For Street Fighter: Chun-Li or M. Bison.

Not mentioning Bayonetta or Pac-Man series becuase i don't have interest on those 2 franchises when it comes to potential 2nd newcomers.
