The new Pokemon weights 80.5 Kg.
I'm sure Ash will show his super strenght again in the movie lifting that Pokemon like it's nothing.
I still can't get over how he carried Larvitar and Hippopotas like it was nothing.

Hippopotas weighs around 110 lbs.

...While Larvitar's around 160.

Ahem.
Dragonite: 463.0 lbs.
Capable of flying at speeds which go up to going around the globe in 16 hours.

Jessie stops it mid flight with just a frying pan.

Edit: To put that speed in perspective, its about 1,553.5 mph. About TWICE THE SPEED OF SOUND.

The pokemon says it's "Man made"

But, honestly porygon seems to be a more advanced man made pokemon since it can exist in multiple planes such as data or physical form

Guys... This is the franchise where ten year olds can enslave gods to fight against rats.
Logic kinda takes a backseat on this one.

Have you ever thought that maybe the Pokemon aren't as heavy as the games make them out to be. Maybe they are truly light. Even for :4mewtwo:.

I mean for God sakes, :4charizard: is 5'7.

Which is the same height as :4littlemac: and barely taller than :4shulk:

You know what it reminds me of? Diancie.
Like, look at this:

It could be a little far-fetched sure. But the resemblance is there.
Well there could be two reasons for this:
Ken sugormi expressed how in future, they wanted to simplify pokemon designs. So maybe that meant basing them on other designs and simply the look?

or...

This pokemon was made by an ancient tribe who saw diancie and what to create something like it. Which leads me into my new type theory...

its...

GAME THEORY TIME!

Pokemon Z will be announced within the next few days( or by the end of the month), alongside this pokemon.

Pokemon Z will be the literal other half version of XY.

There will be two regions. This is slightly alluded to with XY's ties to other regions.

70 more pokemon will be added( to double XY's amount.)

The game will be two versions with a core as the focus of each one. The plots will overlap though.

There will be a new type to coincide with fairy.

This type ( my name prediction, not entirely accurate) will be magic.

It will focus on pokemon that are man made/ ancient( think claydol), and have magical qualities to them.

This pokemon will be metal and magic. My prediction is that it is a man made pokemon, but by an ancient tribe. Using some type of dark magic, they bring to life a pokeball like object and it becomes magianna.

Also it's definitely Gen 6.5, hence why it's such big news that a new pokemon is in the movie. If it was for a new gen they wouldn't bat an eye.

Don't your remember, they are the ultimate weapon!

I always imagine that the Pokedex was written by 10 year olds...so things are very exaggerated.

What if Magiana were to be the first Pokémon to only make an appearance in a single movie and never in the videogames in any kind, shape or form?

It could be a clock Pokémon using Diancie gems as quartz.

On the off chance Smash speculation isn't being shut down for the next decade, though, I would just like to take the time to point out that no, Magiana is not going to be playable in the next Smash.

Apparently it's called a Mythical (or rather, Illusory) Pokemon in the first line of text in the corner. Read the last six letters and compare it to this: 幻のポケモン
Isn't Zoroark also called an Illusory Pokemon?

That seems like a really weird choice. The games are kind of an important part.

Plusbit kind of defeats the purpose of "gotta catch em all"
