I mean, I'm not against a one shot character being added from Zelda (even though I prefer Impa), but it's gonna be someone relevant when it happens.

That being said, Midna, King of Red Lions or Groose would make me squee.

I'd prefer Tingle for Zelda character more than anyone else

I agree with pretty much everything I'm seeing here, even the cuts.

Not sure about Fleming, Chibi-Robo and Wonder Red, but you're right, we don't know if their series are dead or not. Personally though, I feel like we're only going to get one character that fits into that category.

Can't contest Chorus Kids but I still feel Karate Joe is the stronger candidate.

Lara Croft is cool and if we get more iconic 3rd parties she's up there in likelihood.

I addressed the Henry/Chibi/Red thing a bit, but yeah, like I said, I can see only one or two of the three getting in. Just wanted to cover the bases mainly, and listed Joe as an alternate Rhythm Heaven choice (along with the Wrestler/Reporter). I mainly went with the Chorus Kids for Gematsu/Sakurai reasons, and the fact that they bring a much bigger focus to the rhythm aspect since their shtick is so musically based, while Joe/The Wrestler work more as additional Rhythm Heaven characters, in my eyes, because they can take more conventional playstyles based in karate/wrestling, respectively.

Well I mean, there's only a certain amount of realism vs idealism a roster like this can have. I love Chrom to death, but I'm not gonna pretend like he's got great chances for next time outside of a direct Awakening sequel. And even then it might just strengthen Robin's/Lucina's case for returning instead.

I would think a direct Awakening sequel would boost Chrom's chances even more...(not likely to happen given how the ending was handled in awakening tho)...of course that also depends on how this said sequel would play out...I actually imagine the possibility of a prequel showcasing the events of the future (ironic being a prequel that takes place in the future), in which case gives a greater cause for Lucina's return...so it doesn't really help Chrom at all...

The start is REALLY slow, but after the first dungeon it starts to get really fun in my opinion.

I guess a big part of how much you like it would depend on how much you like story in Zelda. You into stories in Zelda?

On my road to re-acquaint myself with Touhou, I look through some of the newer game's characters... and find this.

Words cannot describe how much what I'm filled with.

yeah clownpiece is uh... yeah
she's a fairy from hell, which has like, western overtones? so she's based on a lampad
the flag thing is, in addition to being a funny valentine reference, a form of psychological warfare against the lunarians

also she serves. Hecatia Lapislazuli.

this is one of the most powerful characters in the series.

Skyward Sword is one of my favourite Zelda games. The tone, the upgrades, the items... it was just fun.

The lack of exploration and the tacked on ending are obviously a negative but I love that game.

Unless they get reeeaaally creative.
Nope.

Corrin was basically the same idea as the most unique FE choice, being Tiki: fights by turning parts of their body into a dragon.
I have a hard time seeing them top it, even with Anna who does everything.

Honestly, I don't really care much uniqueness period.

Mainly because there's been a focus on creating one of every gimmick.
I think it would be cool to have multiple characters with similar versions of the same gimmick. Similar to how Rosalina and Ice Climbers work (although they are a pretty extreme example)

Personally, my least favorite game is actually one that most people will agree with: Soulcalibur Lost Swords.
