Well, she'd use objects from arcade Donkey Kong. For Smash attacks she could use a ladder, jab could be her purse, and one of her specials could be a Fire.

Another special could be her rolling a barrel, even if that's usually DK's job.

Well, I finally downloaded Roster Creator. Between my scatterbrainedness and the general tides of time, I think it's safe to say it's far from my final version even before 5 speculation starts, but I. . .did something.

. . .My tastes in characters are best described as a good mix between orthodox and "OH GOSH WHAT IS THAT."

FE spot is Corrin, other two empty spots are placeholders.

I guess it's a start, but... it's not great.

Waluigi, Bandana Dee, Ridley, a new Pokemon and Inkling? That's not really thinking outside the box very much.

Meanwhile you've given DK three newcomers. I'm all for DK getting more representation, but it seems overly ambitious to stack them with three considering how conservative the rest of the roster is. And you didn't even give Zelda a new character. You really think it's going to stagnate for a second time in a row, especially now that the b-tier is getting more popular and prevalent?

Plus Smash 4 adds five new third-parties, each from a new series, and you add Tails? You mustn't be afraid to dream a little larger, dear.

Also there's few reasons to bring Pichu back. He's a veteran, but not a particularly popular one, nor one that has been attempted to be brought back before, and he's certainly not getting any more relevant.

Aaaand... I wouldn't suggest holding onto the notion that no one gets cut. That hasn't happened since the roster had all of 12 characters on it, and even then Ness was supposed to get the axe.

Ultimately, with DK being the only exception, it's a very safe roster, which makes it unlikely. Like half of the Smash 4 roster was unexpected.

I don't watch the ones that are "big" - never watched Dragon Ball, started and didn't finish Naruto, never gonna watch AoT, don't watch Pokemon, wasn't a Digimon person, not watching YW, no One Piece, never finished TTGL though that isn't talked about as much.

Like, my Anime favorites are all semi-obscure in different ways ways - Sword Art Online, Doraemon, Trigun, Samurai Flemenco to an extent though I haven't watched it as much - and nobody really talks about them much because I don't think many people know they exist haha (mainly the latter two).

Either way, three new characters in a single series is pretty overkill when your newcomer selection is so sparse.

I always wondered why I haven't seen Tarzan in awhile. Kinda figured someone was holding on to him. It's a shame, it was a dang good movie and I would have loved to see Tarzan again.

It's more of a hybrid than anything right now. The line between the two is pretty blurred for me. Not that it isn't the same way for most people to a degree. The only character I'd say is outright wishlist is Tails, though.

No cuts has a logic to it, though, for two reasons:

1. For every four characters predicted cut, only one tends to go. We're probably losing Lucina and Dark Pit, but from there it's just too hard to see where it's going, with the primary logic behind cutting from there leading to:

2. Cutting essentially IS a wishlist for most people anymore. I don't need that venom in my blood.


I think I'm getting some ideas for tweaks, though.

It's a great song, my favorite villain song, and it fits really nicely in my vocal range, but it's probably...the furthest thing from a song for karaoke night. It'd just provoke some (probably worried) stares. Because not many people think of songs with lyrics involving lust and genocide when they think of something to sing at karaoke.

1. But clearly it's also never Sakurai's priority to bring back all characters. That hasn't happened since 64, so to suggest it will now when the roster is at its most bloated seems a little misguided. And you're right, we probably are going to lose Lucina and Dark Pit, so there's a good a place as any to start.

2. No, not cutting characters who have reasons why they might not return, such as being clones, low priority, or of ownership other than Nintendo has plausibility to it. Also, it's a dangerous path to go down sacrificing the integrity of your roster just to keep people here from disagreeing with you.

I very vividly remember a time when excluding Pokemon Trainer or ICs or Snake would cause people to get all riled up. As did including like half the newcomers we wound up with, and look how all that turned out.

Yeah... it's not the best for singing at a karaoke bar... but if you go to one of those places where you can get individual rooms with a group of friends or something and end up getting a few drinks I'm sure no one would care lol.

I remember I sang (with a group of people) the Circle of Life at a karaoke bar before, haha. Sure it's not about lusting after gypsies or wanting to burn people and stuff, but it's also not like... Under the Sea (which has the best lyric ever in a Disney song, you know which one it is) or Let it Go or something. I certainly wasn't sober though. xD

I know I'm done with prediction rosters. Partly because I couldn't even call it a prediction... it'd be a guess. I predict Inkling, and a RH character if Sakurai is still working on the series (and RH continues to get games), and probably Isabelle too, but other than that... no idea. Plus it's so far away, the Smash 5 roster is probably going to have a handful of characters on it that aren't even out yet. :x

I definitely have avoided tumblr at any given situation as I do with most standard social media.
I saw requests for Geno on youtube comments, yes.
But there were a LOT of characters I saw of comparable levels. Ranging from Wolf to Bomberman to Shrek to Goku to Freddy Fazbear to Shantae to Reckless Wiimote Safety Man to Rayman to Banjo-Kazooie.
Geno's problems from Brawl-era and Sm4sh-era speculation are by and large still present and his request potency has diminished which was by all means his biggest factor.
His situation has not gotten better by virtue of the Mii Costume to any significant level in my opinion.
