Watching Power Rangers and Zyurangers again

2 things I noticed

American footage is much better done. Japan has amateur things such as jump cuts to make things appear/ disappear. Which in Zyuranger's I find kind of charming, but in Power Ranger's it just clashes/

Power Rangers mades A LOT less sense if you know the context of the footage. Hell, even if you don't...Sometimes they fight multiple monsters in the same episode that don't have ANYTHING to do with eachother just because neither had enough useable footage. Zyuranger's story is significantly better

Perhaps the most notable employee of the Nintendo Badge Arcade – The Arcade Bunny seeks to fight alongside the Nintendo icons whose badges make his arcade shine with players everyday!

Playstyle: Badge Collector

As an avid fan of various gaming characters, the Arcade Bunny displays his love of games through various badges from various beloved franchises, such as Mario, Pokémon, Splatoon and Animal Crossing, as well as other hidden gems. Although he is initially weak, by collecting badges and items, he’s able to strengthen himself up through the admiration of his favourite game characters.

Size: Around the size of the default Mii Fighter, if not a little shorter.

Speed: Being a rabbit, Arcade Bunny is quick, but is slightly weighed down by the badges; giving him an above average walk speed, yet his dash speed is around the same as Pac-Man.

Weight: A little heavier than Little Mac.

Stage: Nintendo Badge Arcade:

The Arcade that the Arcade Bunny works at – The stage takes place in the Arcade lobby, and eventually will jump into the Catcher, which spawns with a completely random set of platforms each time the stage transitions. In the Catcher, the main hazard is the crane, which can grab someone and drag them up off the screen and KO them, or otherwise drop bombs down on the fighters from above or knock them around with the hammer.

Standard Attacks:

Jab: Arcade Bunny throws a right hook, followed by a left jab, and a roundup punch.

Side-Tilt: Takes out a random badge and holds it up in front of him – similar animation to Pac-Man’s Neutral Special – however he doesn’t throw it. There are two hitboxes – Arcade Bunny’s hand and the badge he summons.

Up-Tilt: Arcade Bunny attempts Ryu’s Shoryuken, but after completing the attack, falls over. The attack has a mini-charge feature by holding the A button, and reaches full power when the Arcade Bunny burns with excitement and vigour.

Down-tilt: Arcade Bunny transforms into his ‘Realistic Bunny’ form and hops towards the opponent. The attack turns him into a ‘photorealistic’ sprite, meaning that he becomes flat in this attack, and gives him a low profile and knock the opponent away.

Neutral Aerial: Performs a mid air karate kick in ‘Macho Mode,’ dealing high sex kick damage, but long ending lag.

Forward Aerial: Takes out a badge and swings it in the fashion of Mario’s Forward Aerial. The badge’s hitbox acts as a meteor smash when used in the air.

Back Aerial: Enthusiastically grabs a badge from his pocket and swings it behind him

Up Aerial: Takes out a random badge and throws it upwards towards an airborne foe.

Down Aerial: Drops a badge below him that hits any foe that is directly below him.

Smash Attacks:
Side Smash:

Arcade Bunny charges up a roundhouse punch, and throws it with so much strength that he falls over on to his face.

Up Smash:
Arcade Bunny shakes up a purse full of badges, but the badges fly out of his purse and knock the opponents into the air on either side of Arcade Bunny and directly above him. The greater charge equates to how many badges fly out around him and how far they fly. Close range gives maximum damage, but further away deals no knockback and small amounts of damage.

Down Smash:
Arcade Bunny uproots a carrot out of the ground, but pulls it with so much force that he is flung backwards quite a distance. The attack sends Arcade Bunny back a bit, and gives him an above average hitbox when thrown backwards, as well as in front of him when uprooting the carrot.


Special Attacks:
Neutral Special: Badge Collect!
The Arcade Bunny produces a special themed badge based on a series that has representation in Super Smash Bros, giving him various stat increases and power ups.
(For Mock-Up Purposes)
Mario, Donkey Kong, The Legend of Zelda, Pokémon, Star Fox, Yoshi, Metroid, F-Zero, Earthbound/Mother, Kirby, Final Fantasy: These badges increase Arcade Bunny’s Special Attack power and give him an extra jump.

Wii Fit, Animal Crossing, Fire Emblem, Kid Icarus, Sonic the Hedgehog: Increases Arcade Bunny’s standard attacks and speed.

Splatoon, Mega Man, Street Fighter, Bayonetta: Give Arcade Bunny increased defense.

Side Special: Pay to Win: Arcade Bunny takes out a remote control device and summons a claw that Arcade Bunny can control. This operates similarly to a controlled version of the Beatle item. Upon grabbing someone, they can be carried somewhere else on the stage. However, this leaves Arcade Bunny wide open while controlling the claw.

Up-Special: Don’t Let Go!: An arcade claw appears out of the air and grabs Arcade Bunny as he’s falling, catching him safely in the grips. The claw can then be controlled in a straight line for only three moves, before letting go of him. Should he fail to recover safely, and Arcade Bunny will panic as he falls.

Down Special: Bomb Drop: Arcade Bunny calls upon a different type of claw – one armed with a bomb. The crane can be swung left or right, and releases the bomb upon releasing the B Button. Because the crane is affected by motion, this affects the bomb’s trajectory. Upon hitting the ground, the bomb will detonate after a few seconds have passed, but can be picked up and thrown as an item.


Final Smash: Nintendo Badge Arcade:
Arcade Bunny poses with vigour and jumps off the screen, returning in a crane machine and operating from the background. The cranes fall down with a stomp on the battlefield, and deal damage when the claws hit someone. After the claws, comes a set of bomb-throwing machines that act as a supersized version of Arcade Bunny’s Down Special. Finally, a massive claw falls on to the centre of the stage, and anyone caught in the claws grip is carried off the screen and KO’d.


Throws/Grabs:

Grab: Reaches out to grab an opponent. If he’s running, he’ll trip and tumble, giving him another means of attacking and another hitbox if he misses.


Forward Throw: Arcade Bunny slaps the opponent.

Up Throw: Arcade Bunny attempts a Shoryuken.

Back Throw: Arcade Bunny attempts a suplex, yet he hits himself in the process of throwing his opponent.

Down Throw: Arcade Bunny sneakily kicks the opponent in the foot, similar to Luigi’s taunt.


Taunts:

Up Taunt: Arcade Bunny temporarily adopts his ‘Macho Mode’

Side Taunt: Arcade Bunny hops to the left and right, doing a little dance.

Down Taunt: Arcade Bunny attempts the ‘Item get!’ pose from ‘The Legend of Zelda,’ holding a random badge each time.

So at the restaurant where we had dinner tonight (And a Nintendo Zone so I had perfect Wi-fi connection), I booted up Nintendo Badge Arcade to see there Ultimate NES Remix Badges... including our big ol' friend Ridley! (And the best thing is that I wracked up 3 free plays - getting Ridley and the other Metroid badges too)

What made me smile was this casual mention of a game that Dr. Mario, DK, Peach, Little Mac and Samus all appear in:
