I'm honestly not even that excited for Corrin and Bayonetta.

I mean granted, I have no attachment to the characters as of yet, but normally any Smash DLC was an exciting enough event to me. I was pretty excited for Lucas, even though I ultimately have barely used him in Smash 4.

I guess I really have just become burned out on the game and the community surrounding it. Just focusing my attention on other things.

I'll still get them day one, try them out, and get their eventual amiibo figures but I guess Smash 4 has become a little hollow for me now.

Bayonetta is the main reason I'm not going to drop Smash 4 for the most part to play Street Fighter.

It's funny because I was decently hyped for Bayonetta when she came up.

I have always had a mind to play through her games (and have tried them and really liked them), and I thought she looked like such a cool addition when I saw her, and still think that. She was also one of my best friend's most wanted.

But again, it's not anything like me being salty about the characters.

I just don't like the Smash 4 community all that much anymore (both competitive and speculative), single-player has become nothing but RNG bull**** for me, I have nobody to play with locally on a regular basis, and the online features get repetitive and overall, they did something screwy with the net code because ever since they started doing major updates for these games, the game's online performance went to **** for me, in both versions, and it's the only game that gives me problems.

Also I would try to get involved in the Smash competitive scene in Ireland but that just isn't realistic for me right now due to personal life reasons.

This is, a lot changed over the course of Smash 4, especially going into DLC territory, yet people still clung to dated expectations.

I just don't think it's worth bothering. Most I'll do for Smash speculation is draw up movesets for characters I like.

I have been thinking about a Henry Fleming one as of late.

If you do make one, post it in the link in my sig. It's basically the best place to talk about the game in general on Smashboards.

I'm actually in the midst of doing more for mine as well. Like, I've had the specials and general gameplay style written for a while now in that thread. I just need to take the time to flesh out the rest of the moveset, haha.

. . .Meh, the main thing I'VE been burnt out on is the fact that speculation has been essentially dead since the week before the 3DS version released, if not the week 4 was first shown off thanks to what Gematsu did.

That looks like it's gonna fix itself soon, so I'm about ready to climb the hype train.

"Draco-Quilin With Magical Chainsaw Sword" and "I'm Probably Too Conservative To Come Up With A Politically Correct Description" have actually gone from disappointing to immensely hype as time has gone on and I've had time to get comfortable with the concept of their inclusions.

The modern design used in the Wii Punch-Out!! and Smash 3DS/Wii U was made by Next Level Studios, a Canadian developer.

Essentially, it's like Donkey Kong. The character was created by the Japanese, but their current designs were created by Westerners.

Diddy Kong is the only character to not originate in Japan.

Yeah, with Fates, there are a lot of tracks I wish they added, including "If I Fall into Darkness" and "The Light Shines Beyond". I understand why they didn't add too many since they were additions to an existing stage, but I do wish we could've gotten them nonetheless.

On the bright side though, at least "Lost in Thoughts All Alone" sounds great.
