I always thought a weeping willow ghost would have made an excellent ghost/grass pokemon. A willow-wisp ghostly seed (almost like a dandelion seed) for the first stage and a translucent feminine-humanoid weeping willow tree pokemon for the second.

There are tons of unused type combinations. In fact no type has been paired with each of the other 16 yet (I'm excluding fairy) the closet are water and flying which have been paired with all but one other type, fire and fighting respectively.

I'm super excited that someone is willing to take over CrappyCaptureDevice's job doing the History Behind Super Smash Bros. videos in the near future. His name is StreetPasWantr from Gamefaqs and he's planning on being as explanatory as CCC, but make the videos shorter (like 5-7 minutes). He might work on a few test videos relating to what was revealed so far like Wii Fit Trainer and Pit since it's too late to do Brawl videos. He's in the process of buying a Capture Device to use for these videos. I'll be looking forward to this soon.

Well, here's a forum thread about the subject. I wonder why they'd keep coming back to the same combos-- it's not like "Fire and Fighting" actually makes that much more sense than the unused combos.

-The tree thing we're talking about. Aren't there already gloomy mushroom ghost-seeming things? Is it just Ghost/Dark?

-A freaky creature that has syringes instead of fingerssss. Syringes that are on fireeeee.

-Something booze related! MOLOTOVA the drunken bear pokemon!

-Is there really not one of these already? I'm voting for an Asian-style dragon that burrows underground.

Personally, I'm hoping for a snowman-themed Ice/Fighting typed Pokémon. Like Lucario or Mienshao, it can attack specially or physically. Besides the obvious Brick Break and Ice Punch, it could get Wood Hammer because of its stick arms. Or maybe a Frilled Lizard Grass/Dragon. It could learn Petal Dance and Dragon Pulse along with Hyper Voice and Rock Slide.

@qdMbp: Dark/Psychic will be used in X & Y as Inkay & Malamar will be that type (well, it was TECHNICALLY used in Black 2/White 2 as well since the PokéStar Studio opponent Brycen-Man is Dark/Psychic type but the only way of playing as him is by hacking).

This is the biggest tournament in Smash history. Yesterday had nothing but hype, and today is going to be historic. The biggest tournament ever (about 2 times the entrance of the previous high), the most views ever, including yesterday Smash having more views on the third EVO stream than the other 2 streams (Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 and Street Fighter x Tekken).

SERIOUSLY FOLKS, GET HYPED!!!! IT'S ABOUT 20 MINUTES AWAY AT (about) THE MOST!!!! THIS IS FREAKING EPIC TO WATCH, TOO!!!

We got 8 possible endings: Wobbles possibly on their last run finally capturing the big one, the rise of Dr. PP, Shroomed possibly becoming the player we all thought he could, HBox cementing a legacy, M2K reestablishing his reign of terror, Mango showing us why he's the best again, Ice ushering in a brave new era, or Armada ending his era with the biggest win in smash history.

Winner's Semis: Wobbles vs. Dr. PP (the two hottest players) and HBox (he's not getting a lot of noise now) vs. M2K (the most under the radar of the "big four")
Loser's: Armada (the man who is the best in the world) vs. Shroomed (the man who is almost there, and is known as the European killer) and Mango (a long-time top 2 and the best in the US for about 5 years) vs. Ice (possibly the new first big name winner of the next generation of smashers, and the next generation of European smashers).
