I would agree, but we don't even know this mewnew's personality, so lets find out more anout before we hate on it ( mewnew>newtwo)

He or she, old or new, same one or different one, it's still Mewtwo. It does everything Mewtwo does, only a bit more thanks to the new form.

This seriously is nothing to whine, cry and ***** about. You can complain if you want, but it won't make any difference or matter to anyone.

I, personally, welcome our new genderswapped Mewtwo overlord while still loving the old brooding and emo Mewtwo that would be a great drinking buddy for Shadow the Hedgehog.

Considering the leaker who leaked the second Mewtwo form has continually been proven to be correct on everything they said, it's pretty much a sure bet there will be a second form. couldnt tell you why Game Freak has chosen not to reveal it now.

I can't find a link to the original post he said it in, but I got a quote from the forums.
And I can at least give proof that was what the exchange of dialogue was through a scan of the manga:


While Dogasu is unsure, I'm pretty sure Ash recognized what he thought was Mewtwo A.
The only other meaning "omae wa..." can be is "Are you..."
So whether it was "You're...." or "Are you...", it implies a sense of acknowledgement that could only be present with knowledge of the previous Mewtwo.


That being said, with the leak about Mewtwo having two new forms in X/Y, I'm willing to bet that Mewtwo A will somehow obtain the currently unrevealed form and encounter Mewtwo B at some point, either in a new OVA or a future movie.

Because I really don't want my last post to be the one I leave with I'm just going to say that I'm taking a break from this place. Classes will be starting soon and so I'll need to curb my time. Plus I really don't like how I've been sounding lately, so I think it's a good time to call time out.

I invited you back to the group; me, Habanero, and Koopa made the greatest roster ever in the roster thread (go back about 2 pages, and you'll see it).

I'm so hoping that the DK and Fox that faced each other have a rematch, because that was one of the best sets I have seen in my life. The first and last games in that set were absolutely incredible, and anyone who doesn't know a lick about smash would enjoy those crazy momentum swings.

Also, Bladewise vs. Lucky was hugely awesome. Let's just say I put my respect bet on the line on the winning horse! ;)

I don't see how Mewtwo B isn't able to be labeled as "intimidating". Not after watching the Prologue (without able to use subtitles, mind you).
Sure, it isn't a Blood Knight like the video game Mewtwo (then again, neither was Mewtwo A), but it's far from lovey-dovey and friendly.

Yeah I just watched that. And she comes across pretty damn bad ass if I do say so myself.

Looks like it completely failed to live up to the hype. Sucks that they don't even give Mewtwo a background in this Movie or even the Prologue Special. I can't tell if they're retconning the Mewtwo from the original series or if it's a new Mewtwo entirely. Not to mention it's just plain bad story telling.

Considering the marketing campaign for this movie, as Star previously said, this was a complete cash grab. I only have 4 things to say at the point:

1. Movie 8 is still the best in the series.
2. Let's hope that the Dub clears things up or at least remains somewhat more faithful to everyone's original perception of Mewtwo.
3. The new Tree Pokemon sounds awesome and team worthy. "Crosses fingers for it being a Grass/Ghost."
