Is it safe to say that the Spirit Bomb joke has been made already?

We as a community did use the Video Game Fan Spirit Bomb to save the Melee EVO stream!

Btw what do you think of project M turbo mode?

It looks amazing, and it should be in Smash WiiU and 3DS. Heck, smash should have crazy stuff on the other side, too, like where you can't jump, grab, shield, or use any attack but grabs (and items)! Also, it sucks it won't be on 2.6, but eh, we'll get it eventually!

Because Pac-Man is the biggest icon in gaming not in Smash, and him vs. Sonic vs. Mario would be a battle of the 3 most iconic figures in gaming. Also, because Pac-Man vs. Snake vs. Sonic vs. Mega Man would literally be about the best possibly 3rd party character battle ever in history.

I probably could've beat the game at that age (I've never played the original SMB) since it's pretty straightforward, but the original LOZ took me years to beat.

I have beaten the entire first world of Super Mario Bros. with one hand, one finger, and with my feet before on two separate occasions (I also can open doors with my feet! HI-YAHHH!!!!). I also once beat the 1st level of Super Mario Bros. 3 using nothing but my nose to push the buttons when I was like 8!

I understand people having troubles with 3D games that way (when games made the transition to 3D, it was hard to get used to it), but that is just ridiculous.

I just noticed that those island towers in the distance apparently glow at night. Sweet.

I am all but certain that is Battlefield, and all but certain those are the "remains" of the fortress in the sky from the SSE. I've said that this stage has the remnants of the city in the clouds from SSE from day one, so pardon me if I'm a bit repetitive. Heck, maybe that's a (slightly) rebuilt alter/building made in the ROB comrades honor!

Guys, this was a SATIRICAL article. The other site just reported the original article incorrectly. It even says so at the top with their edit.

A new character a month?
...I could live with that.

If both games come out in say 15-17 months, that would give us about 27-29 characters. Pre-Brawl, we were shown 26 characters, plus Jigglypuff, Lucario, and Ness who were accidentally revealed, and Marth (plus Ness again) who were shown in Brawl's opening, which brought us to precisely 30 characters shown beforehand.

They gotta show us more than 30 characters pre-release this time; somewhere around 37-41 characters seems more accurate, especially since the hidden 3rd party characters should be shown beforehand, including the returning 3rd party characters. That and because there didn't seem to be a huge leap in hidden characters in Brawl, at least if you don't count the 3rd party characters as "true" hidden characters (and if we are shown all of them pre-release).

...Pac-Man doesn't have a single damn thing to do with Sonic or Snake.

Just like how Wario has nothing to do with Wii Fit Trainer, or Pikachu has nothing to do with the Ice Climbers. It doesn't mean it wouldn't be a fun fight.

As for Sonic and Pac-Man, they are the 2 most recognizable non-Nintendo characters in gaming. That alone means a fight between them would be a huge deal.

Eh, well NES n00b was that good. Like I said, his record speaks for himself. The South and Midwest had an explosion of talent about the time he left us, and he was probably one of the hottest prospects in the South back then. And to make it even better, he was a better friend, and a greater person. There is nothing "sad" about that.

That's a fairly old article, but it's definitely possible seeing as Banjo Pilot was released in 2005 on the GBA. I'm so starved for Banjo right now that I'll take literally anything that's not on the Xbox None.

Mega Man is nowhere near as big as Pac-Man, even if I like him more than Pac-Man. Literally more people recognize Pac-Man than Mario. The original Pac-Man alone sold more copies than probably the entire Mega Man franchise.

It will be another typical IP no one cares about, or perhaps Miyamoto's crappy offshoot of Paper Mario (assuming he hasn't tanked Paper Mario forever now).

But optimistically speaking, I just think it will be something of an experimental game; like Pikmin and Animal Crossing kinda sorta were. That kind of game, although I do not expect a game of that quality from Miyamoto much anymore.

Replace Pacman with Lloyd Irving from Tales of Symphonia and I fully agree. Or just take out Pacman in general.

Sorry, but considering how little value Pacman has in modern gaming compared to Sonic and even Mega (despite lack of love from Capcom), there's nothing even slightly interesting or hype worthy about him to have me want him at all.
