Though not a dinosaur, I think this guy is pretty cool:

Same size and basic shape as a giraffe and yet it flew around. So cool.

EDIT: Oh you'll love Quetzalcoatlus then, Metal Overlord.

Wait

What's all this about Triceratops not being real? Because I can't seem to find anything claiming that.

Calm your t!ts people.

Edit: All the stuff I can find is from 2010, and from what I can tell it's just crazy speculation and jumping conclusions from bloggers, not actual scientists.
Well actually there was an interview on CBS discussing their existence.

For the most part it just claims that archeologists are unsure if they exists or not

They sure made some nice cash and hype on some failed scientific / archeologic 'discoveries'. Then again, this should come as no surprise.

Pachycephalosaurus (Thanks for the find and spelling) and T-rexs were my two fav's

Let me ruin it for you:

Dinosaurs were prehistoric chickens.
I knew that. I saw a documentary on the History Channel back in high school. Eating KFC/Popeye's never made me feel so high in the food chain. :rotfl:

I had so many different "favorite dinosaurs" throughout the years... Of course raptors were always up there. Dilophosaurus too, even after finding out they didn't have awesome frilly things or the ability to spit acid. Don't think I cared much for the PLANT-EATERS except for Ankylosaurus because it's a god damn tank, and those cute little two-legged ones with the beaks... Which I think includes pachycephalosaurs? THERE'S SO MANY COOL DINOSAURS.

Feathered dinosaurs were probably the best kind. For example, there is the velociraptor, which is often inaccurately depicted as much larger and featherless.

...I was about to be very upset because I thought those two "50cm" things at different levels were conveying height.

I wouldn't be surprised if all dinosaurs were feathered to some degree.

The closest things to dinosaurs now are Alligators & Crocodiles.

Feathers? Then birds are probably the closest thing to dinosaurs now.

I took Zoology last year.

Teach said that Birds evolved from Dinosaurs and that most dinos had some sort of feathering on them.

Also, I'm disappointed your avatar isn't from Serenity, Mr. Universe.

To be honest, I made this username up like 4 years ago when I was young and (more) foolish. Had I made a new account, I would've used my usual username for stuff, VigilanteNoir.

So it's not so much that the dinosaurs died out, but more like they just turned into birds.

Next you're gonna tell me we used to be monkeys.

I'm still a little confused where the cut off point is for where you can say x is y. I mean you go back far enough, you used to be a fish.

I'd like to see a Pokemon that starts out looking like a giant dinosaur and then it's final evolution is a chicken.

They should make a Pokemon that starts as a fish, then evolves into an amphibian, then lizard, then dinosaur. You know, actual evolution.

I think at this point, the transition points are practically arbitrary. It also makes you wonder when we became human or what it even means to be human.

What is the name of the dinosaur that they based
's design off of?
When I mentioned wanting a T-Rex pokemon, someone immediately posted Rampardos like he was a T-Rex

First of all, the Pachywhateverosaurus was a herbivore, significantly smaller than a T-Rex, and was known for ramming things with it's head. It is NOT the same thing as a T-Rex
