In other news, people think Dark Samus and Rundus(what?) have better chance of getting in over Ridley. Their argument is basicly "we enjoyed the prime games".

Should there be a second Metroid character besides Samus/Zero Suit Samus, that character is Ridley. Everyone knows that.

Hrm.... See, I love Metroid, and I'd like another rep, but to me Samus really represents the series better then any amount of other characters added could. She IS Metroid to me, so while I get people want Ridly, I just feel like some of those other requests people have should come first. Please don't kill me... >_>

I'm neutral on the metroid series. If we get ridley, higgs, a crawling metroid, none of them, or all of them I really don't care. But I found diddy's manthiony higgs campaign pretty funny so I find a way to bring it up every once in a while.

Also, how would you guys feel about Pyramid Head in the game?

You guys all know he was in another Nintendo game right? New International Track And Field?

I don't think Pyramid Head is a Nintendo character... If he's third party, don't expect him. He's not exactly a gaming icon.

You missed the part where I hoped people wouldn't take me too seriously :p

He's enough of an icon to have gotten TONS of requests for PSAS, but he'd definitely not fit easy in smash bros.

Well, my Mii I use is Ganondorf, and there's a guy who legitimately, troll-less asked me if I was the real Ganondorf. I'll repost the pic later.

Also a long, LONG conversation where I had to convince someone that Little Mac isn't 3rd Party.

Sigh. I lose brain cells on Miiverse. I agree with Kamiya, for REAL.

The key to talking about Smash in non-Smash circles is not doing it. You have to realize that we have a vast wealth of pointless knowledge about every tiny nuance of Smash and Nintendo that NO ONE but us helpless obsessives would (or should) ever know.

Honestly speaking, trying to discuss with people that are very poorly knowledgeable to Super Smash Bros. is the equivalent of trying to discuss with people that are very poorly knowledgeable to chess or wrestling.
