I had to reset my animal crossing game without saving today...

I accidentally sold a rare fish I caught.

It happens when you take breaks between playing, you forget what exactly is in your inventory

Fun fact: Nintendo showed the most exclusives at E3. Other guys showed more multiplats than anything (to be fair these multiplats are compelling)

I'm probably like the only one not really concerned about the character roster. I do hope to find a tales character though, but it's not a deal breaker.

I'm locked in with megaman anyway.

Okay, to the people who are new to this thread, do not post links to any article until you have checked at least three of the previous pages. I know it's hard today with the tidal wave of info we're getting but for future reference, it's considered common courtesy in this type of thread.

Quick question? Does this rumor say that it will be announced by the end of E3/ This week?
Or did it rapidly evolve into "We are getting these characters by the end of the week" through some chaotic telephone effect?

I am still perplexed that the source got Villager, Mega Man, and Wii Fit Trainer right, yet Little Mac, Pac-Man, and Mii did not happen for E3. I wonder what happened. Keep in mind E3 ends today.

IF we are only getting a roster about the same size as Brawl for Smash 4.

Possible Cuts:
- Snake
- Sonic
- Ike
- Lucario
- Toon Link
- Lucas
- Pokemon Trainer
- Possibly Ice Climbers (if Sakurai is unable to get them to work properly for the 3DS version)
- Sheik (if Sakurai's statement was referring to transforming characters)
- Zero Suit Samus (if Sakurai's statement was about transforming characters)
- Possibly one out of Falco or Wolf

Newcomers:
- Mega Man
- Villager
- Wii Fit Trainer
- Little Mac
- Mii
- Pac-Man
- Takamaru
- Ridley
- K. Rool (or possibly Dixie Kong in his stead)
- Chrom (though I think its possible Sakurai gets cynical with the idea of outright replacing Ike with Chrom, and places a wholly original FE character such as the My Unit in)
- Awakened Mewtwo
- Palutena
- Impa (if Sheik is cut)
- Possibly a lot of other surprises.

I think I would be okay as long as Ridley gets in, and if they are able to bring back the cuts through DLC.

Is it set in stone that they have to be revealed this week? Or are we just assuming this?
They could be the first couple character revealed on the site.
With these 3 Sonic exclusive games coming to WiiU I highly doubt Sonic is being cut.

You have no idea how hilarious I find it that this site never crashed when bloody Megaman was revealed, but Sakurai makes a single vague comment about -maybe- having to cut characters, and it goes straight to hell, multiple times.

I'm not too put off by the "No DLC" thing. I mean, in any ideal situation, the game designers would produce the game as an entirely complete product but then afterwards decide to add additional content via DLC. Nobody wants a game where some of the characters are essentially locked from the get go and you have to pay extra.

... I do hope that the designers make the game in a way that it'd be easy to add DLC content just in case, though.

Well we already got Villager and WFT, and there is a high probability that we are going to end up with Mii and Pac-Man as well, so you should just make yourself comfortable with this sort of thing.

Personally, I am glad that Mega Man got in, and that its looking like Little Mac may be in too. Just need a few more big names like Ridley (especially Ridley), Dixie Kong or K. Rool, and Palutena, then Smash Bros. Portable will be worthwhile. I think I am going to skip out on the HD version of the game if there are major cuts and the newcomer selection is not so hot.

Lot's of ups and downs in the speculation world today. No tripping? Yay. DLC not currently in the plans? Okay, if not for the next thing. 3DS hindering the Wii U's capabilities? Bleh.

In all honesty, I just want the veterans from Brawl (barring Sonic and Snake, as their situation is impossible to forsee, but I would like them to return) to return, moreso than any newcomer. Especially the Ice Climbers, seeing as of right now, they may be in jeopardy. C'mon, Sakurai, bring back the Climbers...

The article said "E3 character reveals", so that's why most were expecting them to be revealed today.
