I have my own doubts about June 11th due to that day being a work day. To add insult to injury, the Nintendo Direct is going to happen at 8:00am, which is also when I need to get going for work. If I have to work that day, I won't learn about any details until at least the first break at 10:00am.

There was a rumor that the Fire Emblem Dark Mage character Tharja would be in SSB4.

For what are fairly transparent reasons, the rumor is untrue.

Nobody is exactly buying it to begin with, especially considering the rumor in question came from 4chan. From experience, NEVER trust anything from that place.

Since Nintendo's 'press conference' is all in house; I highly doubt news will leak out so easily.
So I'm not going to buy into any of these rumors at all. Besides why are you guys in such a tizzie to get your hands on rumors/leaks? Wouldn't it kind of kill the hype if you know what's coming before it comes?

Yeah, same. INFJ, though. All the same, I guess finding and evaluating rumors is all part of playing the hype game. It's kind of fun thinking about the (un)likelihood of all these silly things. I do think I'd be unhappy if we actually got a confirmed leak... like, if someone ninja'd a copy of the game and looked through the files and revealed all the unlocks it'd really hurt the hype for me.

I don't think a mic is even required to use skype, you should be able to text too i think, but yeah headphones should be good enough.

For this game, sure, but I wouldn't say supporting characters doesn't go without it's merits.

For example, I wouldn't say that the support for Mega Man pre-Brawl was entirely useless. Sure he failed to get into Brawl, but he was a popular request at the time and was seen as next in line after Sonic by many people. Even after failing to get in, his popularity only continued to increase to where he is now probably the most wanted newcomer for this game. If people assumed that supporting character after the roster was decided was useless, Mega Man would not be nearly as popular as he is today and he would be an impossibility instead of a real contender. Same could apply to King K. Rool in which he didn't start to become popular until after Diddy Kong's confirmation but is now probably the most wanted Nintendo newcomer.

Supporting characters that you feel could get into SSB5 even if they fail to get into SSB4 can still have benefits. It's why I plan on supporting Bowser Jr.'s inclusion, even if this push won't do anything for SSB4 a successful effort could propel him into being one of the very most wanted newcomer for SSB5.

It's safe to assume that the staff are at least listening to varies ideas scattered around here. When it comes to a crossover game like Super Smash Bros., it's a very important detail to know what the fans would like.
