It's Megaman's trailer on youtube. This particular video is on the SmashBrosChannel.

Now we can only see four videos. Being the three character trailers and the Nintendo Direct.

It says that the channel has 15 videos though. Any attempt to investigate the channel further results in a link to Nintendo's main page.

What do you guys think?

If that means 11 new newcomer videos.... I'm all for it :D (but I dunno It might not be that.)

I just checked quickly and I see that the 3 trailer are only in english and japanese but the direct have more language (I got french and german and I think there's other one) so there's more than 8 videos because the direct is on different nintendo channel so it's basicly the same video but in more language than the trailer

I always enjoyed Samus' characterization pre-Other M

left more to the imagination

a lot of people defend her Other M incarnation as giving depth to her character, but I feel like in the case of Samus, less is more

That's the danger of leaving a character to interpretation for so long.

I had no problems with her Other M incarnation and her actions didn't strike me as particularly odd. I don't know. I felt I was able to relate to her or at least understood her.

When you facepalm so much, you make new friends. And the recent discussion gave me two.

Actually, I checked the several languages, and observed this:

There's one extra play list for Russia that differs from the European one, which uses a different age rating system from the rest of Europe which uses PEGI. That's why there are different versions of the same videos.

This said, you have 5 regions and three trailers, meaning a total of 15 videos.

I hate this phrase. I hate it with a passion. Not in relation to Samus, but in general.

I'm sorry, but I prefer actuality and solid facts and knowing things without a doubt than constant ambiguity and "imagining" things are a certain way with constant theories and ideas when in the end it amounts to absolutely nothing cause it's still not the actual truth.

That's probably why I hate a lot of endings to certain anime. I wanna know what happened, not make up my own fan fiction and head-canon about it. XD

Whether it's about story direction or characterization, that's how I feel it should be. Less is NOT more. Less is less. That's why it's called "less".

Other M's problem was the fact that it prioritized story over game, which usually doesn't work well. If it had a more traditional Metroid story and wasn't so linear, I totally assure you that it would have been much better received than how it was.

I agree with Frostwraith, Other M placed a tad too much emphasis on the story instead of core components like exploration. Also it seems as though a lot of players saw Other M as a downgrade from the Prime series as opposed to a throwback to the two dimensional games such as Zero Mission, Super Metroid, etc., so I suppose one's perspective and expectations can also shape how the game is viewed.

I wouldn't think a bounty hunter would be so subservient to the military organization she left. She is a one (wo)man army in that suit, seems like she plays better by herself than with others.

Everytime a man entered a room with Samus in Other M she had to ask him if she could live.

Yeah. Didn't Rundas save Samus more times than ANYONE in Other M?

Regardless, to me, Other M was a game of too much ambition and not enough focus.

There really are some good ideas in the plot. A deleter subplot could have been amazing. Same with Ridley causing Samus to choke up, Adam's sacrifice, etc. Where they really failed was the execution which ended up as sloppy and unorganized. I feel if they could "redo" Other M, it would be loved.
