ATTENTION!
I'll be starting a Nuzlocke run of Pokemon Pearl tonight. Many valiant Pokemon will rise and fall, but the reward of victory will be all the sweeter!

I'll be posting updates from time to time on what is happening in my game. Here I go!

I started in Melee and in Brawl. I recently started playing the Smash 64, but after playing Melee and then switching to Smash 64 is a little weird for me. :?:
First of all, welcome to Smashboards !
I agree with you, the physics of the three installments are different from each other, so it will feel weird when you often switch between them.

I tried nuzlocking pearl once, ended up taking too heavy of a loss and I decided to just go eh **** it and just finish the game like a normal person

Hey guys bad news... My labtop got blue screen of death it crashed I lost pretty much everything for all I know until I get the thing checked at my university. That's right its a school provided labtop, pretty much the worst labtop you could ever own to be honest has a life of 7 months before it dies EVERYTIME! On top of that I am going on vacation on the 15th for 2 weeks but at least my family in Connecticutt has a computer I can use; on a very limited basis though... So I will probably be absent from smashboards for the next 3 weeks or entire month. The only good thing is my university gives me a new labtop everytime the one I uses breaks down or just decides to die for no reason...
Wish me luck on this hiatus people because I am right now typing this message on my mom's desktop computer and she is watching me right now as I am typing this because that is how protective she is of her computer that she rarely ever uses for anything. LOL!
Thank you guys so much I have enjoyed smashboards a lot and have made so many new friends and gotten to know so many different people. I will see you all again in 3 weeks... Hopefully...
And remember! Never trust school provided labtops! Save all your work on a very frequent basis!

In fact Smash 64 has my favorite physics of the three Smash Brothers.
Yea, having to desperately recover from back throws at 15% is the best. (sarcasm)
Seriously though, throwing in SSB64 was broken and overpowered. It definitely did not have the best physics.

Don't get me wrong, I love SSB64 though, it's hella fun; it's just flawed.

I actually started one last night of soul silver.

I got four pokemon so far. All of which I probably would have never used otherwise: Chikorita: New Leaf, Spearow: Fecop, Weedle: Hive mind, Rattata: Fang

Hey man I only play casually, I just find it clicks more than Melee's bullet speed and Brawl's balloon physics.
More satisfying to play or something.

Anyways, what do you think the picture of the day will be? I bet it's going to be Luigi again.
It probably will be for a few more days.

Anyways, anyone find it weird that we already have 3/4 of the main Mario reps confirmed so quickly. I know Luigi was revealed when he was due to the Mario and Luigi dream team release, but it just seems way too sudden if we're only getting those four.
In other words, I'm implying a Mario newcomer.

I just had an amazing idea!

Why don't I turn my Wii U's clock ahead about a year and download Smash Bros and see what characters are available in it

You could, but many weeds would grow and some of your neighbors might leave. But if you put money in the bank it should increase by a big amount.

And your hair will be very messy, only a new hairdo can fix it.

Because the game won't even be out in a year.

Heck, we'll be lucky if either game is out in a year and a half.

Please Heavenly Father Miyamoto in Japan, let Super Mario RPG 2 exist, and let it be better than the original, and let it have everyone return, and give all the rights to Nintendo, and let Geno and/or Mallow, as well as a Super Mario RPG (1 or 2) stage be in Smash 6 (since one of these 2 games is Smash 5).

A-TENDO!!!

WHAT ARE YOU PEOPLE DOING HERE. DUCKTALES IS OUT!!!
Just finished the game myself. It definitely does the original justice, but I don't think it beats it or is beaten by it either.

My only real complaints are that the cutscenes are too frequent that they break up the pace of gameplay and that the ending sequences after the final boss are really annoying platforming-wise. Could/should have had at least an episode or two of the original cartoon unlockable as well as to introduce the show to younger audiences. My 10 year old nephew didn't even know who Scrooge McDuck was.

Definitely is worth a buy for anyone who may still be debating on whether or not to get it. Don't listen to the critics on this one (especially Gamespot who gave it a 4/10). In the meantime I'll be trying my hand on hard and extreme mode while crossing my fingers for Capcom/Wayfoward/Disney to release an OST.

I think half of Captain Falcon's moveset was changed from 64 to Melee.
The forward air (changed to the neutral air), the neutral air (the sex kick was removed), the forward smash (thankfully Samus is using that in Smash Wii U and 3DS; that move was cool), and at least the up smash were all changed.

That's not taking in account that Captain Falcon's grab throws function differently, or that his ground game is totally different.

I'm on the S.S. Anne in my Nuzlocke run on FireRed/LeafGreen, and I have zero deaths. Then again, I level grind like a beast. I haven't even faced anyone on the S.S. Anne and I already have 8 Pokémon at level 28.
