Okay here's my point on mario's fs theory it doesn't make sense see? you only see link right? the only place mario would have been is offscreen on the left however, look at the flames: they are small where link is but begins to be stronger on the left so it wouldn't make sense that the flames are stronger where mario is! plus, the flames are way too small to be an fs

Conclusion, I think the stage hasard theory would make sense the flames seems to be the oot3d design

He's always done that. Take it from a Link main

Actually, I think its a slightly new animation for either forward air (after the attack of course) or descending.
Either way, the Shield ain't Doing anything.

If you say so Mr. Link main. I don't know Link all that well, just well enough to know that's not part of his normal jump/double jump animation.

Has anyone noticed in this new picture that the bridge is broken? Previous Gerudo Valley footage had the bridge intact, so the bridge breaking is an obstacle of the stage. The fire may or may not have to do with the stage itself... Guess we will have to wait and see.

I always knew Gerudo Valley was just a spiritual succesor of the Bridge of Eldin.

There are already two balls as characters, I don't see how he doesn't fit.

Those two ball characters are both created by Sakurai himself. Plus, shape isn't considered as an important factor to be taken in mind whether to accept the character as a Smash character or not.

While Llyod may possibly be the better character, i doubt he is as iconic of a video game character as Pac-man.
But who knows both characters chances are iffy based off of Sakurai's statements, but i would say Pac-man has a better chance.

Lloyd is no where near Pacman when it comes to being an iconic character, but I personally think that Lloyd's design and overall abilities are more suited for the Smash series than Pacman, although I'm not an advocate of either. We'll see what Sakurai has to say and who he decides to be the new 3rd party characters.

I think he had a problem with Megaman's potential moveset if it involved Robot Master weapons. The moveset did have Robot Master weapons and I think Kuma likes it now.

Pacman could deliver a moveset surprise. He is a vital part of gaming history which might be a tempting challenge for Sakurai to work into Smash.

I'll admit I was wrong, and I'd love to be proven wrong with Pacman, but I just don't see it happening. The movesets I see made for Pacman strike me as very bland. At least with Megaman and his robot master moveset, he has a unique playstyle which was more than enough for me to accept. That 8-Way Metal Blade is going to be so cool.

Looks plausible, though if Pinsir is getting one I would like to see Heracross get one too.
Tyranitar is already pretty good (like Blaziken and Mewtwo) Not sure how I feel about these guys getting even more stat upgrades (especially Mewtwo with the sickest Sp. ATK growth in the game)
