if roy returns, i really hope jun fukuyama will be his japanese va again. i'm actually familiar with the va from various anime. and like fukuyama voices lelouch from code geass = badass :D

i know a game like smash doesnt have a lot of content in terms of voice acting. however, i find sometimes people who have "smaller" roles or at least ones that i find people look over, like voice actors, background artists, musicians, character designs, etc don't get enough recgonition. and i think people shouldn't take these artists for granted. even the people who have small roles play an important part in making a game... in making super smash. and we definitely can't forget sakurai, the boss, himself haha. everyone's doing a great job, and i hope smash 4 will be a wonderful game (i'm sure it will be haha).

I think that too, and I think its because mediums like animation and videogames are not taken seriously, especially in the West. However, they all have their fanbases. There also appears to be a trend for these kind of people to be praised more. You've got VAs at conventions, art books of animated films being sold (especially Dreamworks), you're getting OSTs here including Korra which has a spectacular soundtrack, Adventure Time style is very popular, etc.

Do you think We'll get a demo anytime soon? (August-December)
And if so, how many times do you think we could play it?
It better not be 5 or 10, because then I'll never have time for Animal Crossing or fire Emblem or A Link Between Worlds.

It doesn't matter how many times it has, I'll probably just shut my 3DS and plug it into the charger like I did for HarmoKnight a few months ago. :chuckle:

On topic... I am neutral about cuts, especially when it comes to Fire Emblem (anyone but Marth), Pokémon (anyone but Pikachu), Zelda (anyone but Link and Zelda), third-party, and retro.

Off topic.... Animal Crossing: New Leaf... dream codes? Let's visit each other's towns in our dreams! :awesome: We do need to get our badges from Phineas, though... :dizzy:

I found a bug today that I haven't seen listed in the bug guides I've seen... the RICE GRASSHOPPER. So be on the lookout for yet another hopping green thing.

I do not think I have heard of such a thing as a Snozwald. I do not think it is a bug though.

Oh, he was Oasis' pet wheel bug from a few months back. He posted some pictures of him. It was pretty cool.

Don't those things bite hard.
Not sure, actually. I've only seen one alive in my entire life, to be honest. Which is weird, because apparently they're pretty common where I live.

Hey, anyone with New Leaf: are Wheel Bugs in the game?

I actually saw a baby assassin bug (not sure if it was another wheel bug) the other day, coincidentally on a trash can again. It was so tiny and cute... just like my Snozwald...

There have also been some big beetles flying around in the backyard. Caught one in a TUPPERWARE thing, lol. Definitely a scarab beetle of some sort, but I'm no expert on identifying them. Best guess is a rose chafer??? I also saw my first live cicada. SO BIG.

@Opossum: Wheel bugs or even a general assassin bug is not in New Leaf, sadly. ALSO I DIDN'T KNOW THEY WERE COMMON WHERE YOU ARE?

Oh and yeah, they have a bad bite and may carry a certain disease.

When I was living at my dad's house at a busy intersection, the mailman knocked on the door. He told me there was a hornet nest under the mailbox (which was up against the outside house wall) and that I had to get rid of it or he would refuse further delivery.

There was no spray, so I improvised. A big rain storm was coming. I grabbed a flyswatter and figured the heavy rain drops would slow the hornets down enough for me to whack them out of the sky. I wore only boxers so I would be able to feel any hornets that decided to land on me.

Prepared with my boxers and flyswatter, I marched into the rain and swatted the hive. About five came out. The rain did not slow them down at all. But I was managing to hit a few. Suddenly, a guy in a business suit safely in his car at the intersection leaned out of his window, and with a big smile shouted," Your DANCING in the rain!"

I looked at him, perplexed and soaked. That is when I felt the spreading heat of the hornet sting entering the top of my head. He distracted me from my battle and I had to retreat with a lump on the skull.

I really wanted to see a bombardier beetle in New Leaf. If you didn't sneak up on it, it might stun you with its chemical spray or something.

I'm also annoyed that the Giraffe Stag didn't make it, since it's the longest stag beetle. The stag beetles in AC so far are awfully small compared to their horned rivals.

Cicadas are amazing. They are so loud over in Connecticut. Brood II came out of the ground this summer. I put one on my face.

Are we talking about bugs in real life?

I mostly dislike insects, which is why I'm glad there are very few different species where I live.

I hate flies, spiders and most larger bugs. I don't mind Ladybugs or Praying Mantises though, I've let the Ladybugs come onto my hands and fingers and I've picked up a Praying Matnis we saw in Disneyland California Adventure to save it from being stepped on.

I recall seeing a near dead small, sort of scarab like beetle in my backyard once. and a stinkbug, and at one time we saw a type of leaf bug lurking around our bar in the backyard.

Ants are annoying, but I'm not grossed out by them really. There also a bunch of brown widows lurking around our area too, laying their eggs around outside furniture. And theres also a bunch of harmless, but big meaty spiders which love to make webs on the light strands.

Yep. From what I read, they're pretty common in the Eastern US, but most people just don't see them. Kind of like flying squirrels, but less fluffy.
