Disfunkshunal
Manners Maketh Man
Do you actually read? Re-read oasis' first line, which many other people have also said, and actually think about it. You're stuck in the "of they have the same chars then it's a port" frame of mind. Get out if it.

"Dumb" is subjective. What seems dumb to you, is perfectly logical to me. Statements such as this decrease your credibility in a debate.Yeah see, that's why I said don't be dumb.
I did indeed read this line. It started this entire repartee.Dumbdumbdumbdumb.
I don't find you less credible as a result. i understand where you're coming from. It is merely friendly advice. That depends if non-dumb people find me less credible or not. How Subjective.
What on Earth are you talking about?I think my Strength Scared away the Smarts from this discussion. I apologize for being SOOOOOOOO Sexy!!!
I agree. The 3ds game would merely be inferior. That one too but I meant the first one of his last post. Where he said it's two different games and you said by saying handheld smash would be the same as smash on a console.
2 different games can't be the same.
I don't follow. With that kind of unfounded attitude, it's no wonder you feel the need for something more.
But when your position is revealed to come from an idea so flawed... It's only natural you'd be found less credible in a debate.
What you want is no exclusive content. Given this parameter, the 3ds cant be anything but a dumbed down port. You're entire premise is contradictory in that regard. You feel like Smash 3DS can only be a dumbed down port of the Wii U version, even though that wouldn't work or make sense. You feel like you're ENTITLED to more, so you want exclusive characters. That's your basis, and it has no foundation.
You didn't understand things from the beginning. SO I REPEAT: Don't be dumb.
That is one approach. BUTAre you trolling? I refuse to believe anyone can not get such a simple concept. Let's for a second pretend that smash4 was named. We have super smash brothers U and super smash brothers dimensions. Both of these smash games have the same roster but are still two different games- note it isn't just snash4 on wii u and 3DS but smash u for wii u and smash dimensions for 3DS two different games. Smash dimensions will focus on a single player experience. It will have a longer sse2 and new single player modes maybe like missions for each character or something. But will still have a vanilla multiplayer mode. Smash U will focus more on multiplayer and have lots of new multiplayer options and maybe an adventure mode similar to melee or while it might have sse2 it wont have a lot if the extra singke player modes While both of these games are the 4th smash they are two different games. Think about in math when you did similar vs congruent triangles. These are similar triangles not congruent. The 3DS smash is its own game, it is not a port. 2 seperate games. Dimensions and U. Dimensions=\=U. Not the same game.
We said no exclusive characters. We never said we wanted two identical games. In fact we all said they were different games.Do you actually read?
I know that. You have been opposing exclusive content, but then you propose something similar to what disfunkshunal is saying. It doesn't make sense. There is more to content than just characters, man. I know you don't think so but that's DUMB.
I apologize. I misunderstood. We said no exclusive characters. We never said we wanted two identical games. In fact we all said they were different games.
If you don't know, that means you aren't in the Smart School of Schooling! What on Earth are you talking about?
How so?Honestly, I got a "gut feeling" the 3DS Smash game will be better, because the game with have more depth.
Exclusive content is not just characters. What don't you get? Besides, their gameplay should be the same - meaning same roster, same balance- since they would otherwise have to work on another set of balancing to do.I know that. You have been opposing exclusive content, but then you propose something similar to what disfunkshunal is saying. It doesn't make sense.
I'd like to think it's because with consoles, people want to play online more, so developers sacrifice a single player story-based experience for that of a multi-player experience. Apparently, Halo has become a great example of this. Some may argue that developers can create smaller story campaigns in console games, just to release DLC at a later point for those who want more out of the game.I'm with Johnknight1 on that too. I've noticed handheld games have a lot more put into them storyline-wise than console games.
This has happened quite a bit Nintendo-wise lately. Look at Sonic Colors. Not much in the Console version. But there's a lot more in the Handheld version. They tend to have more story modes for some reason.
I suppose, seeing as iPad games and mobile games can technically count as handhelds, couldn't they? I know there are some PSP games that have great single player stories (I would know). I don't know about the Vita though. It's not handheld games in general, just 3ds games.
It's okay Pikabunz, I got it unlike THIS person.I suppose, seeing as iPad games and mobile games can technically count as handhelds, couldn't they? I know there are some PSP games that have great single player stories (I would know). I don't know about the Vita though.
... I want to say I had JUST gotten the joke, but I don't want another pie in my face. At the risk of having pastry in my face, I'll just guess anyway:It's okay Pikabunz, I got it unlike THIS person.
Something tells me it has to do with them not having anything of value at all. There were signs of this when that desperate plea of a conference took place.Looks like Nintendo won't be at Tokyo Game Show this year.
Hopefully in return we can get some more Nintendo Directs.
This is why I think Nintendo should stick to their Nintendo direct conferences so they wont get ridiculed by people. their E3 conference I believe wasn't for us but rather for investors and reporters who know nothing about video games Nintendo direct is for us that way the competition can't steal from Nintendo since its Nintendo orientated.Something tells me it has to do with them not having anything of value at all. Umm no. It's more like Nintendo rarely attends TGS because they typically hold their own conference around the same time, like they are doing this year.Something tells me it has to do with them not having anything of value at all. There were signs of this when that desperate plea of a conference took place.
You do have a rather good point, now that I think about it. I mean, granted, E3 is still for the gamers, but trying to wow the investors might have been a higher priority from a business standpoint. This is why I think Nintendo should stick to their Nintendo direct conferences so they wont get ridiculed by people. their E3 conference I believe wasn't for us but rather for investors and reporters who know nothing about video games Nintendo direct is for us that way the competition can't steal from Nintendo since its Nintendo orientated.
Also they have alot to show project p-100, pikmin, the new 3ds,how the WiiU will be used, the price point, and probably if were lucky the new smash bros.trailer
