F'n lolz.

Thanks, Kirk. I'll keep this in mind (although I'm sure for most people this is already common sense.:embarrass)
*sigh* You silly fowl.

Just watched the matches myself. Entertaining stuff. Edge gaurds were a bit lenient on the whole, though.

Heh, so to further establish myself as a psuedo-half-***'ed Mexican, I was at a Mexicn restaurant with my family today, and was totally confused when I went to their restrooms. To the left of me, there was a funky, unfamiliar word, and to the right, there was another, different word, both of which were in Spanish. I figured they meant "men" and "women" or at least something along those lines, but I just didn't know. So anyway, I just walked into the one that ended in "os" instead of "as" (I at least know that much), but was still scared that I could've been potentially walking into a women's public bathroom at the age of 24. Heh, when I walked in, I'd never been so relieved to see a urinal before in my whole life.

The date of JAB 1 has been changed to February 28th. Please make sure you are aware of this change.
Figured that would happen, what with johns flying all around the JAB thread. I guess they were legit, though!

Goose needs to shield/play defensively/roll away/dodge Alan's moves more.
Yeah Goose, if you ever say... misspace an aerial or something and you're about to get ****ed over my, buffer a C-Stick roll or spot dodge basically everytime. Because of the fact Marth's l-canceled moves have almost no lag, it's really safe. If you look through Marth videos, you can basically see that Ken and M2K literally have spammed this.
Buffering rolls is also pretty nice against Falco's lasers and pillaring.

Buffering rolls/spot dodge...Hmm, ok, I THINK I know how to do this. I'll have Anthony double check that I'm doing it right when I'm down there this weekend. Thanks for the advice. Heh, being able to somewhat manuever around Falco's lasers and pillaring, and that it'll also help to avoid Fox's grab and up smash is always a nice welcome in my book.

No! Don't do that. Actually, you should DI towards Fox, then DI up during the resulting usmash. F'ing marth is already too gay without me needing skill to waveshine combo him.

hey... so is anybody interested in going to the Winona Lake tourney this Friday and Saturday? I definitely feel like going and I'm willing to carpool assuming other people will throw down.
Unfortunately, brawl has been pretty much 100% rejected by the Purdue Crew. You probably aren't going to find anyone around here that wants to travel for it.

Get a hold of me, Cunning, or BunBun. (AIM?) We can surely play for a few hours this week.
Dude, or me! - I guess I'm almost included under "BunBun" now ain't I? Still ... One of you failures better call me if Anub shows up at tark. :p I want to play a little, too!

really? so everyone here is really against brawl in its entirety? i remember seeing the discussion of how much it didn't appeal to you guys, but i didn't think you were going to avoid it altogether. there isn't ANYBODY on campus within the dew crew that likes brawl?

Mr. H put it pretty well. We all gave it a shot, but almost all of us simply disliked how the game plays competetively, myself included. I haven't touched the game in months already. On the other hand, if you were thinking of taking up/ getting back into Melee.....;)

If you want Brawl, go to Michigan tourneys. I think most of the current MidWest Brawl tourneys are hosted there.

If there are friendlies going on on Friday, someone clue me in. I would rather not play during the week because of the do-or-die nature of my current semester.
