excuse me, but you are souring this thread. user to user, I'm politely asking that you don't post here, because personally, you are in the very minute minority, and you are ruining the fun we're having here by suggesting that you're not impressed with galaxy. If you're gonna post in this thread, at least don't mention it again plz. I'm practically begging you. I am gonna buy the game, I don't care what you say because I think that you might be a VERY synnical person. I can tell that you at least are regarding certain areas.

Ohh, this game doesn't look better than it is, it is better than it looks. I've heard it from people of who's oppinion I respect. AKA Gimpyfish.

don't worry too much about it though man, I'm not your enemy here, just trying to defend those who are trying to enjoy this thread.

I wouldn't let a quick play at gamestop give you the wrong impression.

Have you ever subscribed to Nintendo Power and read the articles for yourself? Because I've been a reader for about five years and a subscriber for three. They definitely do not boost up their own company's game scores in comparison to everyone else's. You might argue that they grade games too easily, but to say they are biased would be wrong.

i did subscribe once. then they stopped sending me my subscriptions halfway through my current one. sorry mario-man, i gotta say this part. NP claims that TP was the best zelda game made. it isn't even among the top five. (ecpecially with its below par difficulty, and even fun value) nintendo makes their big games seem larger than what they really are

But many people did consider Twilight Princess the best Zelda game upon completing it. I'm pretty darn sure at least IGN and Gamespot reviewed it as the best Zelda game ever as well. Heck, I thought the same way until the hype went down, and now it's been bumped to second after Majora's Mask.

Go check gamefaws for some reviews made by the public. It's a general consensus that the game was pretty darn good.

Erm, on topic, I heard you could be a bee in this game! bzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz!!!

****. After watching the IGN video review (9.7 OMG) I can't WAIT for this game. All I needed to hear was that it was the true successor to Mario 64 and I was sold. Welcome back Mario, welcome back.

Doggalina, how is the demo? I tried playing it at EB, but had to go pretty much right at the start (didn't even get to where-ever Peach was)

I"ve played the demo from the beginning about 5 times since my local Gamestop was told my Nintendo to erase saved files. I love the game. Even got a chance to fight a Giant Goomba. This game will be the greatest selling Wii game. It's perfect.

Trust me, the hype isn't going to die quickly.

It's not like Sunshine or Twilight Princess.

It's so much better than those, and I'm not just saying that because it's new.

Are you going o be acting like this when Brawl comes out?

Bowser Jr. For BRAWL!!!! HE is sooooo cool.
I am loving Galaxy, but it would take awful alot to take LoZ: TP away from my heart. Hey umm flame me all you want, but I really, really, really enjoyed Wind Waker, pure Nintendoness wise, even more than TP.

what sort of attacks does Mario have? from what i've seen in vids, he mostly did that spin attack, so is that his main melee attack or does he have the kicks and punches like in mario 64?

also are his jump moves more or less the same as they were in the previous games?

I can't wait! I'm giddy like a school girl, even though I still have GH3, Bwii, and FE to play.

From what I've seen while playing the game for the first half hour, his only attack is the spin attack. At first I was disappointed, but then I realized that the punch-kick combo wasn't used that much anyway in Mario 64. I always just dove and jumped on the enemies.

As for jumps I believe they are all the same. You can do all the old school Mario 64 moves such as the long jump, triple jump, and the wall jump.

I doubt they will have it but it is worth a try. Do you really need to rent the game to see if it's good? If you liked Mario 64 or even Sunshine, you'll love Galaxy. Trust me.

I'm just wondering whether I should buy this game or not. I have heard that the main story is only 15 hours, and I could easily finish that in a week rental.

I'm picking this game up after school. The store by my house was taking pre-orders like a month ago, and they've had the game in the back for a couple of days. Yippee <3
